"Sunday Snap!"

I have been trying to think of a snappy title for a post on a Sunday, which would give me a day of rest from my blogging adventure, and, hey presto, it came to me like a bolt out of the blue.

I shall now make Sundays my  "Sunday Snap" day, when I will  post a photo which, hopefully, you will enjoy.

So here it is, my very first Sunday Snap (I feel I should be cutting a ribbon here, or unveiling a plaque, or throwing a bottle of champagne at my laptop).

This is my little grandson having fun with his mum's friend.  I love the photo because it looks as if he is actually flying, and, also, for the sheer delight on his face!

Gawgus things - love the 'little man' bit! Sometimes he is just like a little man, especially when he's talking to me and being all serious!

lyndylou - I had two daughters, then a granddaughter (now have a baby granddaughter as well), so when a little boy came along, it was a whole different ball game!

Bouncin'Barb - Glad you think it's a good idea. Awesome, I am!!! LOL!

SkippyMom - fancy font! Ha! I thought it was rather cute. Expect you're recovering after your day with Squirrel yesterday!

Odie - thanks. I think it will be quite hard to beat that one!

As a boy I always craved weightless flight and achieved it by jumping off swings and sailing through the air. We can learn from this photo, Thisisme. We all had moments like this in our lives when we were experiencing pure ecstasy. If you close your eyes and put yourself back in that moment you can experience joy and lose the blues.

Shady - as always, that's a very good comment. So much so that I transported myself back to when I was a child (a lot of time travel was needed there, my friend!) and I did conjure up some happy moments.

Bethe 77 - yes, lots of other people seem to have a theme going on for various days of the week, so I decided to have my own one going on!

Belle - I so agree. It's lovely to see their pure innocence.

This is a great shot and a great idea for a short sunday post. He does actually look like he is flying. At first glance I thought he was being thrown :)

Jax- hi. One of your favourite films is on tv in England right now! P.S. I Love You!! Glad you thought it was a good idea for Sunday posts.

What a fantastic picture:) It is the kind of thing that just makes a person happy inside. The Sunday Snap is a great theme, very catchy and rather sassy too. He does look like he's being thrown, but I can't stop laughing because his face is bursting with joy. I will bet money that he grows up to be a hang glider pilot!

One of most favorite things is a child's laugh and the expression on their face while laughing. Great "snap" and wonderful idea for Sundays! Enjoy!!

kneesandpaws - sorry, I thought I had replied to your comment! :( He certainly does look happy, doesn't he, and I'm glad it made you laugh. Watch this space for the hang glider bit!!

Donna B - Likewise, I thought I had replied to your comment too :( Yes, to see the innocence of a child when they are laughing is wonderful, isn't it?!

LindyLouMac - Thank you. As I said previously in these comments, I think this one will be a hard one to beat!
