I'm afraid she might mess up the orders. Maybe Philip could help out.

Looks pretty good in that uniform.

Bethe77 - I think she would be hard pressed to be any of those!!

Belle - I can't imagine Phillip being much help! LOL!

lyndylou - Yes, I agree. I'm just hoping that our American friends don't think it's me!! LOL!

Odie - it would be a bit scratchy for her I would think though, compared to what she's used to!!!

That is hilarious!

That wedding is going to be expensive but apparently not as expensive as others? I would so love to be there!

Thank you so much for posting my button about Sunday Song. I am not as organised as you I'm afraid. I still can't make up mind about the song I'd like to feature.

Well, you must be having your morning cuppa about now? I am exhausted after a busy week and have to wake up at 5:30 to get Al ready for a cricket game. So much for a weekend sleep-in! Hope you have a lovely day.

Best wishes always,
Natasha.

Gawgus things - can't you just imagine it!!! LOL!

Holly - glad it made you smile today!

Becky - thanks for that!! Hope you have a super weekend :)

This reminds me of the current hit television series Undercover Boss. It also reminds me of the long running TV show of the 1950's called Queen for a Day. It was a weepy program where people (mostly women) openly discussed their hard luck lives in front of a national audience and were then awarded a toaster oven or some other modest appliance for their candor. Do you remember it, Thisisme?

Thanks for putting up with me yesterday. I was fascinated to learn about things you have been exposed to in the UK that I knew nothing about and I got the urge to share information with you. It was a great example of how an artist or a movie can be so much a part of your life and you never stop to think that somebody in another country might not have any inkling who or what you're talking about. Thanks again for your indulgence, dear friend!

Shady - Hi there. That's okay, I enjoyed the posts we were sharing yesterday! We certainlyh do have Undercover Boss over here, but I haven't heard of Queen for a Day, I must admit. Wonder if anyone has sent a copy of this photo to Her Maj?!!

Jumble - glad you appreciated it!!

Alely - thank you so much for popping over to my Blog and becoming a new Follower. That's great. I did click on you, but you don't seem to have an actual Blog, so I don't know whether that's right or not. Anyway, I hope you will stop by again. Thanks for the congratulations on the wedding. We are all very excited!!

Becca - it was kind of cute, wasn't it?!

That is so funny This. But I bet it still wouldn't crack a smile in that old stone face. I used to like her until the way she acted when Diana was killed.

so did I Barb, totally changed the way I felt about the royal family. There's protocol and there's having feelings!

You look great - did you just get the job? Congrats. sandie

Empty Nester - you'll have to get in the queue!

SkippyMom - Hope you have a lovely weekend too.

Bouncin'Barb - I couldn't agree with you more. The whole royal family really didn't act well. Poor Diana - I still think of how badly she was treated.

lyndylou - hear hear!!

Wave of Life Surf Studio - Oh I expect she does!! LOL!

Chatty Crone - I hope that your comment was said as a joke!!!!

Do you think that she will still be able to carry her purse and gloves while filling orders? That could get tricky!
Funny post- thanks for the laugh!
Take Care~

Just so you know, the UK uniforms at McDonalds are way fancier than the US uniforms. (that's pretty funny.)

By the way.. Clara loves the little mouse on the top of your blog. I've had to scroll to in many times.

Have a wonderful night.

You just know that Pss Anne is the manager. She likes to tell people where to go. Besides, she has to save for a wedding, too!

Southhamsdarling said...

My Blonde Moments - Sharon - Good point. She could never meet members of the public without her gloves on. She might catch something from us plebs!! (LOL!).

Cat - glad it made you smile!

Amy - that was interesting to know about the difference in uniforms. Perhaps they have a better standard of customers over here in England!!!!! LOL!!!! I've dedicated that little mouse to Clara!

On My Soapbox - Gosh, yes, I'd forgotten that Princess Ann is saving for a wedding as well! I certainly wouldn't want her as a Manager. She would be telling everyone to Naff Orf!!
