Sunday Snap!

Here is my cool little dude - we were enjoying the warm sunshine in the garden yesterday and having an 'au revoir' barbecue.  Suddenly the house is very quiet again with just my hubby and I here once more :(

I did try to hide in the car when the family were leaving, but they found me and had to drag me out again!!  Even little Alfred looked sad to be leaving us.

Hot cross Bun

Finally, I have asked my special man if he could make you all a chocolate egg as a treat for Easter.  Here he is busily mixing the chocolate :

And here is the finished product - especially for all of you, my dear bloggy friends!

Darn! They found you. giggle - would've been nice if they hadn't.

Hope you have a lovely Easter sweetheart. Enjoy the day!

What would poor Hubby have said if you'd managed to stay hidden and he was left at home all on his own!

Your weather looked perfect in the garden yesterday! It's our turn for rain and cold now. Easter always signals the switch to our rainy season and it arrived today, so the timing is spot-on!

Your grandson is too, too cute!

Thanks so much for that glamorous egg and other chocolate treats. You've spoilt us :)

Awww.. I'm so sorry that they found you!! I guess you need to find a better hiding spot next time! :) That little "dude" is precious! And the "other guy", he's kinda' cute, too! Lucky YOU!! Thank you for the Easter candy!! ~ God Bless!! ((HUGS))

Good looks run through your entire family, Thisisme, starting with you! Even Alfred is a dapper young fellow. I am delighted that you and your family shared an extra long visit. Chin up - it won't be long till you're all together again. I could eat a bushel o' buns right now! Happy Easter, dear friend!

SkippyMom - darn indeed!! I did try to lock all the doors, but that didn't work either! LOL!! Happy Easter to you too little friend.

Desiree - Not sure if hubby would have noticed that I wasn't there!!! Sorry you've got the rain there now. The weather we have had ever since the family arrived has been quite wonderful, so that was a real blessing. Enjoy your part of the egg. Always good to hear from you!

Becky - Yes, it was a pity they found me. I had my passport in my pocket as well!!!! Blessings to you too dear friend on this Easter Sunday.

Shady - Thank you for your kind comments. A bushel of buns indeed!!! Anyway, how many children have you chased off your lawn so far?!! Take care my dear friend.

I know that feeling.. Whenever my cousins visit, the house is just bustling with activity, and then they leave, and the house seems so empty.. :| Although I've never really tried hiding in the car.. I'll try it next time.. I might have better luck! :D :D :P
The pictures are gorgeous as ever, and thank you so much for the chocolate egg! It's just delicious! :D Happy Easter!!
I've passed on an award to you.. I'd love for you to accept it.. :)

Beautiful pictures & memories to enjoy until you see them again. Wishing you and your Hubby a very happy Easter and a great coming week.

Teresa - lovely to hear from you. I agree, it does sound rather strange when all my American friends refer to it as a yard. To us, here, a yard is just a small piece of concrete that usually comes with a terraced house! Glad you enjoyed the chocolate!

PencilGirl - it is strange for a while when visitors leave, isn't it. Hope you're having a lovely weekend. I will pop over to you now to look at my Award. That is very sweet of you!

Odie - Thank you Odie. Hope you have a good week also.

It must be a little strange having just the two of you again. But they'll all be back soon enough for the wedding. Thank you for the chocolate. That's the best way to eat it. Calories = NONE! Have a wonderful day!

Lavi - thank you so much for dropping by with your Easter greetings! Happy Easter to you too.

Colenic - Yes, it's not easy saying goodbye again, but we will be meeting up quite a lot over the summer months, so lots to look forward to! Warmest wishes to you.

Bouncin'Barb = yes, I'll be seeing lots of the family during the summer. Yay, no calories. Can't be bad! Hope you're settling in, with not too much bother from the neighbours!

Easter Monday has me down a little too, and I didn't even have to say goodbye to anyone. I hope that you're not too sad while they're away.
I also want to thank you for the review you posted about The King's Speech. It finally arrived in my mailbox and I had a lovely evening watching it with Richard.

Oooh what lovely chocolate eggs - thankyou. Your grandson is gorgeous. I am sure it must seem awfully quiet at your place now. Have a little rest, I am sure you have been working very hard. Thanks for your lovely comments, love Linda x

Yum! I love all things chocolate!

Do you know...when I went shopping for Easter treats I bought chocolate treats as if I had four children and oodles of grandchildren - then I keep almost all of it for me.

Well...I do give a little to my daughter (the one and only) - because I love her!

True confessions...

Lovely post - I enjoyed it!
