Sunday Snaps!

I have to start this post on a very sad note indeed, and would ask for prayers and loving thoughts for a very dear blogging friend, Belle, who lives in British Columbia.  Her much loved grandson, aged only 21, passed away very suddenly a short time ago.  Dear Belle, please know that we are all sending you our love and prayers to you and all the family at this sad time.

Now that the grass in the adjoining fields has been cut, the livestock are now back, so here are a few photos that I took earlier today :

This is just one of the apple trees in the orchard, and we have a good crop this year - the horses love them!

I have visited Belle's blog and left my condolences. What a dreadful shock for Craig's family! My heart goes out to them all.

You have a most marvellous setting to call home, Diane! I trust you and your precious family are all well.

Big hug,
Des xoxo

I have tears in my eyes and pain in my heart, Thisisme, just like you do. I am emotionally wrecked by Belle's sad news. I am devastated. I love Belle so much I and don't want her hurting this way. Tragedy will come to all of our lives eventually and it's good to know that our friends and loved ones are there to rally 'round us. I hope that you have a fine Sunday, dear Thisisme. Join me in praying for our dear friend and her family.

The horses are beautiful, Thisisme. I always wondered how horses and other beasts can tolerate all of those flies crawling on their faces. Maybe there's a lesson in stoicism in that.

So sorry to hear of Bella's loss. May the Lord hold her and care for her in her grief.
The horses look like they are enjoying themselves. Beautiful snaps of the fields with the horses. The apple tree looks yummy. I can see why the horses would enjoy them.

So sorry to hear about Belle's grandson. Always tragic when a young one is ripped from us. Always.

Back catching up after my week of no computing, ok just a little FB and a photo a day. Your posts as always are entertaining with the lows and highs of life, so sad to read today's news. My husband will empathise with you on the over prescribing of steroid creams, his legs are now in a poor way thanks in part to this! On a more cheerful note glad you had a good time with grandchildren.

Dizzy - Hi Carol. It is sad for Belle and all her family, isn't it? Glad you liked the horses!

LindyLouMac - Hi there. Good to see you back! Good for you though that you took some time away from the computer! Those steroid creams have got a lot to answer for, and I'm sorry that your husband is affected like that as well.
