Sunday Snaps!

Hi everyone.  Well here we are, it's Sunday once again, and time for a few more photos.

This time we have the latest ones of little Ruby Violet, taken this past week whilst I was looking after her. (How lucky am I?!). She is 20 months old now.

Look at my new shoes!

Wonder how this works?

I'll get them off in a minute if I try hard enough!

What a little treasure! I love these photos. Will she still tug at her Jimmy Choos when she is older?
So glad to have time to come by and visit you at last. I've cleared up all the mess from the party now and am indulging myself in visiting you. I have quite a few posts to catch up on but I would like to than you here publicly for being the best blogging friend a 'girl' could have, a tremendous sport, a fantastic support and huge congratulations on winning your crown in the mini skirts competition - didn't you just wow everyone?
I hope you are going to use that photo now as your new header ;)
I shall now sit quietly with my cup of green tea (!) and enjoy your wonderful blog.

What a sweetie pie. I know you had a wonderful time keeping her. You're so much better than I am at taking great pics, too. I really have to work on that. My daughter gets great pics of Cate, but I usually just grab my camera and click. I'm lucky if I get all the heads in my shot. Hehehe

I love Ruby Violet aka Ruby Tuesday! She's adorable and I love to watch her grow. I must once again praise you for having the most appealing header of any blog I've seen. What a beautiful family you've got! I also have been forgetting to tell you that I also own one of those Dyson hoovers. Aren't they great? So lightweight and maneuverable. Have a wonderful Sunday, dear friend Thisisme!

Facing50.Blog - Carol my dear leetle friend. Thank you SO much for taking the trouble to pop over to see me. You must be shattered after your tremendously successful party! I really did try to tidy up after me, but you know what that Desiree, Eva and Pam (EmptyNester) are like! Leaving vol-au-vents all over the place they were! Hee Hee! I am thrilled with my crown and I shall be parading down the High Street with it on for the rest of this week! Eeeek! Green Tea sounds good. I must just go and put the kettle on. Thank you for your very kind comments = they really are appreciated. Big hug and thank you again for a stupendous party! X

SkippyMom - lovely to see you here, and I hope that you are now recovering from all your birthday fun! I bet it's been absolutely lovely having Squirrel home with you all again.

Raindrops and Daisies - thank you Fiona. She really is a little cutie and such a pleasure to have around!

Grammy Goodwill - yes, I love having little Ruby around. She really is a little treasure! I just click away with my camera, hoping to get a few good shots. That's the beauty of digital cameras. It's hard taking photos at this age, because they usually don't stay still for very long!

Shady - I thought perhaps you might enjoy the photos today! Yes, I am thrilled with my Dyson = honestly! Gosh, I have a new picture of Tom in my mind now - going through the house, doing the hoovering (or the Dyson-ing. LOL!). That's so kind of you to say how much you like my Blog Header. Carol (whose party we went to) said I should post the winning photo as my header for a while, but I think that would be just showing off, don't you, and I'm not really that kind of girl!! Hee Hee!

Ruby is so adorable and you must just have the best time watching her marvel at the world around herself - in this case - her shoes.

Ah...I remember those days - pure fun! Enjoy them!

Jenny

She's really growing fast. And love the hair. She looks so much like her brother. What a little doll. I had the best phone call with my girls a little bit ago and I'm still smiling. Hugs Awesome Lady!

Hi Diane! I have fallen so far behind this past week and am determined to start making a dent in catching up with all of my favourite bloggers! Ruby Violet is absolutely GAWGUS! How come there are so many gawgus girls in your family? Oh, yes, of course! They are the off-spring of their GAWGUS GRANDMOTHER! Not only gawgus, but now famous around the blogging world, too! Well, the legs are, at any rate :)

Seriously, it was a well-deserved win, Diane. You were my number 1 favourite (who wouldn't have voted for you, looking THAT marvellous, when most of us, considerably younger, don't come anywhere close!), until Linda sneakily entered the fray (obviously to show me up, since there was no way on earth I was going to show my legs). I am SO glad you won!!!

Your little Angel is truly precious...just look at that little mouth! Oh, they grow up so fast, we have to enjoy each and every moment! How very lucky you are to have her and she is to have you in each other's lives and living close enough to be able to see each other so regularly!

I also thoroughly enjoyed meeting up with you, Eva and Pam. We had a good time on our ownsome, didn't we? Do you have Eva blog link? I am unable to locate her!

Enjoy the rest of your day. We had rain (always welcome in my part of the world!). I hope you had SUNSHINE!

Big hug,
Des xoxo

STOOOPID ME!!! I've seen Eva's comment here and clicked on the link...so I withdraw my question/request, thank you :) I'll visit her as soon as I've caught up here :)

I adore her name! :) What a cutie.

Desiree said...

Hmmmm! I've just read through all of the comments here...and am not impressed. I see you sneakily put the blame on poor Pam, Eva and me for all the mess! I saw you spilling your champagne on Carol's Axminster! Guess who covered your tracks for you that time? It was I! Yes, I grabbed a pile of paper napkins and blotted up all the evidence and thought I'd go to my grave with the scret. However, since you OUTED us on your blog, I had to do likewise! I'm now off to sulk. Green tea sounds disgusting!

She is so adorable. What a wonderful time you must have had. Have a fabulous week.

Desiree - My goodness my dear friend, you certainly have been busy catching up with your blogs! So many comments of yours have suddenly appeared!! I am sat here laughing at your last comment about me spilling champagne on Carol's Axminster! Damn and blast! I thought I had got away with that one! Serves me right about sneaking on the three of you about the vol-au-vents I suppose!!

Desiree (again!) - My little Ruby is precious, isn't she, and, as you say, look at her little mouth! YES, we had a super time at the party didn't we, you, me, Eva and Pam. It really was fun and I enjoyed it so much. Yes, the genes all started with this Gawgus grandma!! Hee Hee!

Pearson Report - Hi Jenny. Always lovely to see you here and, yes, I am making the most of every moment with little Ruby. They grow away so quickly, don't they, as I'm finding out already with Eli, her brother :(

Bouncin'Barb - hi my awesome friend. Yes, she does look very much like her brother. Oh, I am so happy that you have been speaking to your gorgeous girls again. How lovely for you. I know how much you love them and how proud you are of them. Hugs dear friend and I hope that you are doing okay.

chambanachik - Thank you. It is a pretty name, isn't it?!

Hi Diane, sorry I am a little behind with my reading. I have just caught up with all your posts I've missed. Ruby Violet is such a cutie pie. My daughter would never keep her shoes on either. Congratulations on winning the mini skirt competition. Your legs look fabulous! Interesting that your hubbie freezes the apples before pressing them. I am sure the juice he makes will be wonderful. Thankyou for your encouraging comments on my post. The book is really fab and my pics don't do it justice. Have a great week, love Linda x
