Sunny Climes for Daughter Number 2....

Hi there.  Here I am again, very much hoping that you are all keeping well and in good spirits.  Don't forget, POSITIVE is the word for 2012!!

All quotes from Pinterest

Those of you who were following me last summer, will know that my youngest daughter got married, with the wedding reception being held here in our garden.

Well, money was a bit tight for them, so they never actually had a honeymoon.  They just booked into the medieaval hall where the marriage ceremony was held, for the night of the wedding.

Anyway, they are SO excited, because the honeymoon has just been booked, and they are going to the Dominion Republic for a week in April!  Both grandmas (and papa's) will be looking after the little ones during that time.  They wanted to go somewhere special and I'm sure it will be. I am so thrilled for them.

I just wanted to share this piece of good news with my little bloggy friends!

Hugs to you all, and I'll see you again soon.  Oh! I nearly forgot -I'm afraid that I am having real problems with leaving comments on some of my friends' blogs.  (Yesterday it was Linda, from Write from the Heart, and dear Tom from Shady Dell - Music & Memories and, also, "Auntie" sezzzzzz).  I always keep going in and trying again, so if you haven't heard from me, that's the reason why!  I don't know whether anyone else is having the same sort of problem.  I do hope that Blogger isn't going to start playing up again!

Wonderful news about the newlyweds, sounds fantastic. I'm sure the Grammas and Grampas will have a lovely time as well!
My big concern is the talk going around that Blogger Google Connect Friends is supposed to be going away. I don't like that...have you heard anything on this?
So far not having trouble leaving comments but I may just be slow getting the attack.
Have a sunny day....

How exciting for the newlyweds. A delayed honeymoon is more fun.
Love all your 'positive notes'.
My problem with blogger is that my followers keep vanishing. And the look of my blog seems to change or get stuck. Grrrrrr.

What a wonderful bit of fun you have coming your way with this little love buttons of yours.

I hope your daughter and her hubby have a wonderful and relaxing honeymoon!

It appears Blogger is doing a few long overdue upgrades to their commenting system but it appears to be taking its toll on many folks out there.

Hopefully they get it fixed soon!

In the meantime...I'm having no difficulty getting your lovely comments at my place - lucky me!

Cheers, Jenny @ PEARSON REPORT

It will surely be a dream honeymoon getaway for you daughter and her spouse, Thisisme. I am very happy to learn that they booked the trip. Several friends are currently having difficulty posting comments including our Bouncin' Barb. A few days ago I tried to post a comment on YouTube and it wouldn't let me. We can only hope that these nagging problems get resolved because it hurts when communication between dear friends is cut off. Thank goodness for email, right? God bless you my dear friend, and have a happy (Ruby) Tuesday!

The DR is heavenly, I hear! I know they will have an exotically great time.

I've been having some trouble with Blogger as well. Hopefully it got the burps out of its system.

Like Shady said email sure is a blessing when other means of communication doesn't seem to work. Wonderful new about your daughter and her hubby. I hope it will be a trip to remember forever and I know the grandparents will have a ball too. Have a wonderful rest of this Tuesday and know you are thought of often.
Hugs,
Odie

That's wonderful news! I was thinking recently about why I love to visit you here. It's because of the quality of your thinking and the way you care. Your philosophy of kindness and a positive attitude is something that we all need. I'm very happy that your daughter and son in law will be able to have a real honeymoon. I just learned yesterday that my youngest brother is engaged! And we are all thrilled for him but I can't make an announcement on my blog or fb unitl he's ready. But this is incredibly positive news for our family. I hope you have a wonderful, sunny day!

I'm so happy for the newlyweds. What a beautiful place for a honeymoon. Delayed honeymoons are even sweeter. (Hubby and I had to delay ours as well, so I know. Even though that was a long time ago. hehehe)
What fun you'll have keeping the kiddies.

Lovely that they are getting a honeymoon.

I fear that Blogger is having *hick-ups* again. Or *bad-hair-days.* :-(

People are saying they can't comment in my blog. I am finding I can't, in another blog.

I've NOT made any changes. So don't see why it would be me.

BUT!!!!!!!! Blogger recently added one of their *new* things, to Comments. (UGHHHHHHH)

I don't want it, but I seem to have it, anyway. Others seem to have to make changes, in order to get it. And I see that lucky-you, don't have it here, in your comments, as yet.

Bahhhhhhhh-humbug on NEW Blogger things!!!!!! Could this be the source of our can't-comment issues?

??????????????????????

Those are the very blogs I'm having trouble with plus a few more. It is frustrating. I am sooo very happy for the newlyweds to be officially taking a honeymoon trip. That is awesome and especially because they will appreciate it all the more! I didn't get a honeymoon for 2 years and so I remember how much we had and how special it was. Better rest up for those beauties! Grandma's and Grandpa's will need it! Hugs.

Yep sweetie, this Ozark Farm Chick has seen the comment problems all over Blogland. It's a blogger problem and has really played waylay with my comments.

I'm thrilled the happy couple is gettin' the honeymoon of their dreams.

Best of luck to ya on the grandkiddo wish! :o)

From the happy hills and hollers of the Missouri Ponderosa, ya'll have a blessed and beautiful day! :o)

I know a lot of people are having problems with blogger, I don't know why. I know that when I had troubles last year it was because my blog had been hacked and they had put suspect html on my blog [they imbedded it with one of things on my sidebar - one of the links I had put up]It took me a long time to find, but once I did I erased all the html from the sidebar and haven't had a problem since. You may want to read through yours and see if there is anything suspect b/c you have a lot of them.

Congrats to the newlyweds - that sounds like a wonderful honeymoon.

Dear Diane, I love your post today and it's all about being positive! I am totally in for that this year! I'm delighted to hear that your daughter and her husband finally will be able to go on their honeymoon. And I know you will be happy to have the little ones there with you :) I'm a little late this evening, but hope that you have had a nice and relaxing day. Big hugs x Eva

I love what Albert Einstein said. My daughters went to Dominican Republic for a week and had a wonderful time. They want to go again some day, so I'm sure your daughter and hubby will enjoy themselves.

Quite a few of my friends and myself have had trouble with commenting lately. I wish Blogger would communicate with us.

Haha, "the Dominion Republic"; I needed to check where it was. My poor social study. Must going to be a wonderful trip they have!!!

Dear Diane: Yes, it's true, I'm back at last! I was so thrilled to see you'd spotted my reappearance and made me feel so welcome. Thank you! I love your positive message and will try to keep it in mind when I'm having a moan ;) How exciting for Daughter No 2 & her Beau to have a week of bliss in paradise. How blessed they are to have two sets of willing and able grandparents to help out with the littlies. Such a precious time and opportunity for all involved. I, too, am so happy for them and know you will be in your element playing full time Granny :) I am off to read the posts I missed. You have certainly been prolific in my absence. It's so good to be back visiting with you! Big hug xoxo

Honeymoons! Ahhhhh!!!!! and a warm, sunny place in the dreary rainy months at home. They'll be dreaming of nothing else for months.

ps. a while back, I was having those problems with comments. My DIL suggested not being "stay signed in" and it has worked fine ever since.

Me again bringing up the behind on reading, but, yes, I've had trouble leaving comments, and Shady's blog disappeared from my sidebar and list. I managed to get to his last two posts, but could not leave comments. Yours seems to be the one I can leave a note on. Could you be everyone's go-to this week?

I'm excited to hear that your newlyweds are getting to have their real honeymoon! What fun it will be. And, I really liked your post-it note that says, "Face the sun and (oh darn, I forgot the rest!) well, something about your troubles wil be behind you! I needed that today.

Thank you for your uplifting post and hugs to you!
