Vintage Valentine Cards

Hallo little bloggies . Well, I'm still without an Internet connection and have to admit that I'm missing all my little bloggy friends very much!

I'm having a go at typing this post on my iPhone, so goodness knows how it will all turn out.

As we get closer to Valentines Day, I thought you might like to take a peep at some vintage Valentine cards, all of which I came across on Pinterest.

I'll try to visit you if I can, but it is so slow using my phone! Anyway, I hope you're all being good in my absence!

Sending hugs your way.

I love, love, love vintage Valentine cards. I have a collection of them and love pulling them out this time of year - brings back such sweet memories of the shoe box we decorated in elementary school to hold the ones we received. Hope your internet is fixed soon!

Love the vintage cards! I'm so sorry about your internet connection- I do hope you get it again soon. It's almost as bad as doing without electricity~

I love your Valentine header. I found an old scrapbook of mine that had a few of these vintage Valentines. I need to take pictures and post about them before the 14th. I enjoyed looking at these.

Oh, darn, Thisisme! I'm sorry to learn that you're still not back up to speed. I know the feeling. I lost my internet connection for a while again today. It's been happening every couple of days lately and drives me bonkers.

I love to examine vintage art, illustration and cartoons and I really appreciate these V-cards. That's me in #6, by the way, Shady the Knight! (LOL)

In elementary school we drew names out of a hat to determine with whom we would exchange a Valentine. It was a good idea because otherwise only the prettiest girls and most popular boys were likely to receive cards.

I hope you are well and having a restful night, my dear friend! I'll see you soon!

Dear God, please bring the internet back to Thisisme. I miss her so much and so do all her other bloggy friends. Amen!

Miss you!

I love your headliner. I love the vintage Valentines! I think the vintage Valentines are so much cuter than the ones today. They also remind me of when I was younger. Oh my I think I just dated myeslef. All so wonderful for the month of love and hearts. You are surely missed. Praying you will be up and running with your internet soon.
Blessings

sadly, I remember these. The memories came flooding of grade school parties, waiting to receive valentines, and then reading and admiring them.

What lovely cards! Hope you get connected again soon :(

Those cards are so sweet. When did everything get so edgy and sarcastic? I like these because the lines are soft, the curves are round, the children are innocent and the words are simple goodness. I look forward to your return my friend!

Are you still knocked out of bloggyland? Hope you're up to snuff soon. Love your Valentines! I remember some of them came on sheets and you had to pop them out, being careful not to tear them. And, your rocket Valentine is a familiar one. There were always one or two like that...'You're Out of This World, Valentine!' Hope you get your cool self up and running soon Thisisme! Hugs, and Happy Valentine's Day!
