Sunday Snaps!

Happy Sunday everyone! As the weather was so bad over here in England this past week, I have decided to go for some sunshine in my Sunday Snaps today, so sit back and enjoy the blue skies.  (Okay, I know that most of my American bloggies seem to live under permanent blue skies, but humour me here please!).

The family went back to France early this morning, and the little ones are now back home with their mummy and daddy, so it's just the two of us rattling around the house again.  Actually, I'm really hoping that little Alfred will be okay, as they had to take him to the Vets three times on the last days that they were here.  To be honest, the first time I thought he was  having a stroke.  It certainly didn't look good, but the Vet seemed to think that it was a muscular thing in his neck.  He just started walking backwards, and then seemed to veer from one side of the room to the other.

Get well soon little Alfred!

Those are truly glorious pictures- all of them! Of course, your grandkids are beautiful, but it was great seeing you there looking as beautiful!

I am praying for little Alfred- I hope he recovers soon. (I used to work as a veterinary technician when I was in school and I do recall a couple of cases like that- the dog walking backwards. It seems like it was a muscular thing both times.)

Well, I was just getting ready to call it a night when I read the sad news about my buddy Alfred. I hope it is just a muscular spasm and nothing more serious. I love Alfred like he's my own. Please keep me posted on how he's doing. You and your family all look great in these pictures snapped around beautiful Devon. Happy Sunday to you, dear Thisisme. Enjoy your empty nest and get some much needed rest.

Hi Diane, Thank you very much for sharing some sunshine and blue skies with us today. The weather is just so bad. Very windy over here too now.
Hope that Alfred will get better soon.
Have a lovely day my friend!

I thought little bubba was holding a frog when the pic was a tiny thumbnail. Poor Alfred! My friend's son had a cramp in his neck and screamed blue murder until they called an ambulance who fixed him pretty darn quick!

Lovely pictures and I will take them anytime instead of rainy ones. Just curious, what would that Rib Eye Steak for $14.95 be in US money?
So sorry you had that damage but I am sure your hubby will be able to fix it back like nothing happened. I knew Tom would adore that last picture. A wonderful shot of Alfred. Take care and I hope you are able to enjoy the rest of your Sunday.
Hugs,
Odie

Diane, I know you must be exhausted! I loved your self-portrait on your last post - that could be anyone of use "ladies of a certain age" when taking care of small children.

I'm sorry for little Alfred and praying for his quick recovery. He looks to be such a sweet little guy.

Also hope your weather improves. Your little building was badly damaged, wasn't it! Hope it will not be too difficult to fix over.

It seems life has a lot of feast or famine in it. Either we have too much sun and too little rain or vice versa. Then, we have all the family at once, and then the house is empty. That is how it goes. I bet you are loving the quiet and missing the kids all at the same time. That is how I am.

I hope little Alfred heals quickly. What do they do for such things?

There is something so uplifting about sunshine isn't there? Even if it's just looking at pictures. These are great and boy the kids have changed a lot haven't ? Glad everyone is home safe and sound and hope Alfred is fine in no time. Poor little guy! Keep me posted on his condition. Get some well deserved rest now! Hugs my awesome friend.
