I Must Have Slept With Around .....

Well, as you can see, I'm back! Hi everyone - I do hope that you are all well in your little corner of the world.  I feel that I've been out of the loop for so long, that I did wonder whether it was too late to come back at all!!  Anyway, here goes ....

I must have slept with around 46 different people in the past month, which is quite surprising really, because I am such a good little soul!  You're probably wondering what I'm talking about.  Well, I am referring of course to my sustained stay in Hospital.  Six beds in a Ward, people coming and going all the time, and I must have been shunted around to about six different Wards, so the number of people that I have slept with is probably rather higher than I thought.

Let me tell you something, everybody snores!! It might be loud snores, or quiet little snores, or snores that you feel like chucking a pillow at the person making that particular noise! Suffice it to say, I didn't get too much sleep during that time.

Fortunately, I am now home again, mostly just resting and doing very little at all, as I just don't have the energy.  I am very much hoping that it is onwards and upwards from now on.  My big regret is that I had to cancel the holiday to Rhodes with my granddaughter, which was due to take place on the 11th July (I can't fly for eight weeks), but we are now looking to go somewhere hot at the end of October, so all is not lost.

I'm hoping to start visiting you all again in the next few days, as I'm anxious to see what you have been up to.  Although, to be honest, my blog page keeps telling me that I'm not following any Blogs at the moment.  I have tried re-starting the computer, but to no avail at the moment.  Hopefully it will sort itself out.

Nothing lights up my blog roll better than a new post from ThisIsMe! Sounds like you have been through the ringer, so 'take it easy greasy and slide back in' slowly and carefully to all your routines! We will all be thrilled with bits and pieces as you get better!
Hope the sun is shining again in your beautiful corner of the world!
Hugs~

Oh you naughty girl, sleeping around like that, LOL. Wow, that was a long hospital stay. Please rest and heal, and you have a journey to Rhodes to look forward to.
I hope you are following me :)

I have to admit, your title made me do a double take! You have been on quite the journey and I am so glad you are back.

Now, you will be in fine shape for the trip with your sweet grandaughter and get to enjoy things fully.

Continue to take care of yourself, my friend!

My prayers and those of all your friends around the world have been answered, dear Thisisme. It's a tremendous relief to see you well enough to post again. I know this has been a terrible ordeal for you and I hope, as do you, that it's all behind you now and that you can start to focus on your October getaway with Eleanor. Please take it slow and easy. That's what I've been doing the last couple of weeks and I'm enjoying it. Again, welcome back, dear friend Thisisme!

Dear Diane,
It's lovely to have you back - you've been missed! I'm sorry to hear that you had to cancel your holiday, but it will be great to go someplace later on. You should've asked them for earplugs to keep the snoring sounds out. I'm glad to hear that you're back home and resting. Have a lovely weekend my friend!
Big hugs,
Eva

I am SO glad to see a new blog post because this means you must be feeling better. We've missed you! You just take care of yourself and rest. All that sleeping around must have worn you out. No kidding, I can't imagine being in a ward with six other people. I hope you didn't catch anything. (I would think it would be difficult not to catch a cold with that many in one ward.)

It is so good to see a post from you. As usual, you turned something unpleasant into a funny story. I'm sorry you've been hospitalized, and I hope it "fixed" you for good. Have a wonderful weekend.
