So true!

Hi everyone. I spotted this on my youngest daughter's Facebook page and thought it was lovely.

Something for all young mums to take to heart. I hope you enjoy it my friends.

Priceless advice. I know I was guilty of not slowing down at times. You can't get those days back either. Hugs my awesome friend.

That's a wonderful little poem, directly from a child's heart. I already did a screen shot of it to share with my daughter in Alaska, who just gave birth to a baby girl on Sunday the 15th. She has another little girl who is 2 Time flies by so quickly, doesn't it?

Oh, how this squeezed my heart. I love it, and I hope it is advice all young mothers will heed.

Hallo, dear Thisisme! How true it is and not only for young mums but for dads, siblings, friends and everybody. Life is hectic, but if it's to be worth living we must set aside time to be with people, listen to them and connect with them in a meaningful way. Electronic pokes and tweets might be convenient but they can't replace a face-to-face, heart-to-heart chat, a telehone conversation or a handwritten letter on stationery. Every time we say "too busy" or "later" to someone who needs us, we are shortchanging them and ourselves. Thank you for this helpful reminder, Thisisme, and good night to you, my dear friend!

It is such a rushing world and fast paced life we all live. Before we know it, our children are grown. We should all slow down a bit.

Dearest Diane;
One of my ex-girl student has a year old baby. Just yesterday, I run into her at the mall, this will be the perfect words for her as she looked quite tense during the lovely chat. I need to take it easy sometime as well(*^_^*)

Sending you lots of love and hugs from Japan, xoxo Miyako*

Yes! We decided to leave the television off in the evenings and read books aloud on the big bed. We are almost through Felix Salten's Bambi and it is breathlessly beautiful, true and sad. But the experience of just slowing down for reading in the evenings has enriched our busy days.
(And while reading this beautiful fairy tale of a life in the woods, we realize how much the American version, the Disney version, misses the emotionally true reality of life by sugar coating and leaving out the deep stuff).

Oh very simple taking from a childs heart.

The way the Moms of today are different. Always in a rush. Work, tired.

I hope this speaks to those who do not take time for their children.

Moms have to make the change or there children will be geeks.

Moms spend time with your children.

Dont let the computers get your childs attention first or ipods or games.let them have your atention.

Thanks for sharing.
