I can't bear to think of you or any of your loved ones getting hurt, especially Ruby and Eli. God was surely looking after them that day. I am also shaken by the story you told of your own crash when Emma was a child. I pray that there will be no more such tales to tell in your lifetime.

I always remain on high alert when driving because tragedy can strike in a split second. I am firmly against people texting, phoning or gaming whilst driving because those distractions dramatically increase the odds of being involved in an accident. Some people even have a screen embedded in the dash so that they can watch movies whilst driving! Playing the radio or car stereo loudly or having an animated chat with a car filled with people are also dangerous distractions that invite disaster.

Eliminating distractions helps ensure our safety and the safety of our friends, family and innocent motorists and pedestrians. The rest is up to the good Lord.

Extra hugs from me to you, dear friend.
