I'm going to send you a DM tomorrow xSouthhamsdarlinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12285980805569582676noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-884235015796031442.post-7744339990897053332020-06-03T17:00:19.119+01:002020-06-03T17:00:19.119+01:00Thisisme, you do know how to put things in perspec...Thisisme, you do know how to put things in perspective. Yes, our world is upside down, and many of us are worn out from it. I was proud to get Shawn through 5th grade and graduation, but it was tough! Now, what to do with summer since we can't get out much. We have gone to the grocery store because we don't have anyone to go for us. I finally got face masks for our protection-I had to order them online. At least we won't be accused of offending anyone, and we keep our distance. Not many restaurants have opened here yet, if they have I can't figure out which ones. I can't cook every night because Shawn won't eat much good food, so I have gained weight from eating burgers and pizza. Today, however I will make a Tortellini salad with corned beef and veggies. Shawn has always liked that salad. Our hairdresser's phone is no longer in service, so we will probably have to find someone new to cut our hair-my hair is beyond my shoulders, ugh! It needs color and I wear it up most of the time.

The photos of your grandchildren are just adorable! They are so grown up now, and Eleanor is such a beauty! I'm sure you miss her terribly, and it's good she is able to get out a little bit these days.

I agree it's terrible about what is happening in the U.S. I don't understand yet, why the officer did that to the black gentleman. I feel like some of the Police are using excessive force anymore. Why are people so out of control? I'm glad we just stay home at night. We live only 6 miles from our downtown area in Fort Worth, and from what I gather, there has been minimal trouble. There have been demonstrations, but I don't think too much has gotten out of hand. I'm afraid I only spend a few minutes watching news on TV, and more time reading, and watching movies.

Well, Thisisme...your quotes ring true, and I do look forward to the healing of our country, gosh, I hope the kids get to go back to school in the fall. Our school superintendent sent a message just this morning the decision has not been made yet. Fingers are crossed.

Our rain has subsided now, and we are in 90 degree steamy weather. I am glad to see your lovely gardens, and hope you are doing well. Sending hugs your way! β₯Suzannehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12383039383765299104noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-884235015796031442.post-48020361312851079392020-06-03T15:52:45.503+01:002020-06-03T15:52:45.503+01:00Hallo dear Sush.
