Sush - you are so right my friend! Hugs.

Orchid - Much happiness to you and hubby! Yes, the one of the little girl with the penguin was cute, wasn't it - and the dog! LOL! Hope all is well. Hugs.

Several of these resonate with me, Thisisme. In my motivational training I learned that "happiness" is a completely irrelevant concept. It is like an elusive butterfly that most of us chase all our lives, leaving us exhausted, frustrated and bitter. When you let go of that insatiable desire to attain happiness and to have a Utopian life that's perfect all the time, a profound sense of peace and well being sweeps over you, and that serenity is merely a different, more practical form of happiness.

The little girl with the penguin reminds me of Ruby Violet. I hope she's been told that Alfred is soon coming over for a visit. Have a wonderful weekend, dear friend Thisisme!

Shelly - thank you. Glad you enjoyed it!

Shady - Hi dear friend. I couldn't agree with you more, that so many of us are trying to attain the unattainable! (If that makes any sense!). When we can learn to be thankful for what we DO have in our lives and not constantly be on the lookout for something else, then that, indeed, is finding inner peace and contentment. Hope you have a lovely weekend.

I love the little girl with the penguin! She's ticklish all over with happiness! Her absolute joy in something so ordinary yet so profound says it all for me. And the same can be said of the smiling dog! True happiness costs nothing and crops up in unexpectedly simple ways, to be enjoyed fully in that moment.

Wonderful quotes! I watch Joyce Meyer on TV and she has taught me how to be happy. When I feel sad, I think of the many positive things in my life and in the world. I do believe you can think yourself happy!
