Keep Calm for a Monday with Just a Bit of Fun

This past week has seen Paris Fashion Week over in France, and my daughter has been going along to see all the action.  On Saturday, my granddaughter went along as well, as she had such a good time there last year.  My newer followers might not know that several of the top French Magazines (Vogue & Elle & Harpers Bazaar)were taking her photo.  This is one of the photos from last year -

Here is a photo from this year.  I thought it was a really cool photo!
Look at those long legs!!

We've all seen those Posters that say Keep Calm and Carry On, well  I thought I would just have a bit of fun to start the week off and show you some variations on this theme.  I must admit, I never knew that so many versions of the saying were available! All images courtesy of Pinterest.

I hope you all have a lovely week, whatever you may have planned, and remember - KEEP CALM!!

Well it's easy to see where your Beautiful Granddaughter of Gawgus gets her legs! Ms Mini-Skirt contest winner!
I think I'll try to Keep Calm and Sparkle! What a lovely idea!

Hugs and hope you are feeling better. Thanks for the visits and comments. I'm partially back, but I'm reading your lovely blog as often as time permits!

What a gorgeous young lady you have! Those legs go on forever! What is she doing over at that fun place...just having fun or working too?

Keep calm and keep your friends close. :D

I remember those pics from last year and those long legs. My favorite is the one with her pup. She is so, so lovely [runs all the way through your family.]

Hope you have a calm and beautiful Monday, my friend.

Sush - I think Keep Calm and Sparkle is a lovely one as well! I know that you have been reading & commenting on my blog dear friend, and I thank you for finding the time to do that.

Claudia - thank you! Hope you are having a lovely holiday.

Gawgus - yes, those Keep Calm signs are on so many things now. I think they're great fun.

Duncan - Hee Hee! No, my husband doesn't like that one either, especially when it's me doing the spending!!

Ann Nichols - my daughter and her family have lived in Paris for the past seven years. My granddaughter is only 13, so she is still at school, but she is very tall!!

SkippyMom - hi there. Oh, I love your slogan the very best! Keep Calm and Keep Your Friends Close. Now why hasn't anyone thought of that one before. It's brilliant!! Thank you for your lovely comment, as always. Hugs.

Wow, maybe she should be thinking about modelling as a career, although I know it is far from glamorous and very very hard work.
I love all the Keep Calm posters, two in particular are very me I think! I might use one as a gone travelling post lindyloumacbookreviews to explain lack of posts!

Your granddaughter has the makings of a top model, Thisisme. To make a real splash and a fashion statement she should carry Alfred around in her purse! (LOL) Does she plan to start a blog of her own any time soon? I hope you enjoy good health and good fortune in the coming week, dear friend!

I can tell you what your lovely granddaughter will be doing in a few decades: winning mini skirt contests like her grandmother. Beautiful girl. Sounds like fun week.

LindyLouMac in Italy - hi there Linda. I'm pleased that you're finding time to pop over to see me before you get ready for your travels! Yes, when you consider my granddaughter is only 13, if her legs keep on growing for a while, she's going to be pretty tall!! Those Keep Calm posters are fun, aren't they?! Yes, you could certainly leave one whilst you're away!!

Shady - Hi dear friend. Always good to see you over here. That's a very good idea about carrying Alfred around with her. Trouble is, although he's not that big, he's pretty heavy now, so that might be a problem. LOL!! She did start a blog about 18 months ago when I was over there, but only did one post! She's far too busy with school work at the moment. Have a lovely week.

Linda - I'm still smiling at your comment!! Honestly, my legs aren't very long at all, as I'm only about 5'2"! She's much taller than me already. I always appreciate seeing you over here.

Dear Lady,
I admire Beautiful, Gorgeous granddaughter of yours♡♡♡
No doubt that top French Magazines have been taking her photos. I wonder if she is doing something to keep her wonderful slender body.
Dear Lady, all set for bro's service tomorrow and I think I'll be able to "keep calm and carry on". Thank you for the very timely words for me!!!
Better have a good sleep tonight, night night, hugs from east, Orchid*

She's going to be a beauty when she's fully developed. Not that she's not now but you know what I mean. She'll be entering the mini skirt contest years from now like her Grandma! Keep calm and pretend you're at the beach! I don't have to pretend anymore. I'm so grateful! Awesome post.

Southhamsdarling said...

Life 101 = Hi Rick. Lovely to see you over here today, and glad you enjoyed the post. I'm not surprised about your wife being in that magazine. Jilda is still a very beautiful woman.

Orchid - hallo my dear little friend. Thank you for your kind comments. So tomorrow is the service for your dear brother. You will be in my thoughts and prayers, be assured of that. As you say, a timely post for you today! Hope it all goes well for you. Hugs being sent your way.

Bouncin'Barb - Yes, I know what you mean about my granddaughter. After all, she is only 13! Yes, you're right, we are both lucky living close by the beach. I just love it. Do hope you feel a little less tired now my awesome friend. Hugs.

I agree with the other comments. What a beautiful young girl with lovely legs. (I would vote for her, too, if she ever enters a contest like you. hehehe) My son-in-law loves to bike ride in races. My daughter got him a Keep Calm and Cycle On.

Glenda said...

What a beautiful granddaughter - and so exciting that all those magazines took pictures of her last year.

Keep Calm - if we could get that message across to all nations, there would be no more war.

Redhead said...

keep calm and make it so! still has me giggling. Gosh I miss that show.
Neat blog, I don't remember how I got here, but glad I bookmarked it.

Grammy Goodwill - hee hee! Glad you would vote for my granddaughter as well! It would seem that those Keep Calm & Carry on whatever notices are endless!

Glenda - thank you. You're so right, wouldn't it be wonderful if everyone just stopped for a moment to keep calm. I'm sure there would be much less conflict in the world if people did that.

Redhead - how lovely to see you here today. Thank you so much for popping over to leave a comment.

What an honor to be chosen as a model by those magazines! She does have the stature and look of a model for sure. I've decided to Keep Calm and Make it so, like Captain Picard.

Oh, the wisdom of those two little words, inducing us to remain clam! This is something I need to remind myself of daily, when I wake up to each day's surprise mess the dogs have thought up for me in the kitchen! Some days, it's shreded bark scattered every when, other times, camellia blossoms ripped to shreds, this morning it's piles of bottlebrush! Breathe deeply, Desiree and KEEP CALM! Thank you, Diane :) Your granddaughter is gorgeous, in keeping with the family tradition of GAWGUS young and older, women! Just look at those long, long, slim legs! What a lucky little lady!
