Happy Thanksgiving ....

Hallo little bloggies.  Hope you are all keeping well.

I've just popped in today to wish all my American friends a very happy and blessed Thanksgiving.

I know that most of you have been busily shopping and cooking away for the past few days, so I hope it all comes together for you and that you are able to spend it with your loved ones.  If you are not able to actually be together for the Thanksgiving celebrations, I am sure you will be thinking of absent loved ones and family.

Most of you will know that I love vintage cards, so I have picked out a few which celebrate Thanksgiving.

Finally, I cannot finish this post without a couple of quotes!

Well, it's late for me Thisisme...but, I made it early to your post for a change. I just couldn't sleep yet! Thank you for this lovely post! I love the card with the turkey pulling the pumpkin, and the little chef riding it! Your vintage picks are great! My husband is down with a horrible cold, so we'll be staying in this Thanksgiving. But, we do have all the fixings ourselves, and, the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade comes on TV in the morning, so, it will be nice! Your quotes are wonderful...I am thankful, not only for waking up every morning, and, for my family and friends, but, also for having the kindest and most fun blogmates anyone could have! Hugs to you, my friend. Have a wonderful weekend (minus rain)!♥

Hallo, dear Thisisme, and thank you for offering Thanksgiving greetings from across the pond. We have gorgeous weather here today, sunny skies, a refreshing breeze and the temperature rising through the 60s toward an afternoon high in the mid 70s. I hope you are enjoying the same kind of weather in Devon. I love vintage greeting cards, postcards, adverts, menus - you name it. I appreciated the ones you chose for us in this post. I am very thankful this day for friends like you and Suzanne and Shelly. I pray that you are in good health and good spirits. Thank you very much for remembering your American friends this Thanksgiving day! Cheers, blessings, hugs and SMOOCHES to you, dear Thisisme!

It is so kind of ou to do a post on our American holiday. Your vintage cards are so dear. We had a wonderful day with all our family together minus one. Mom enjoyed seeing her great-grandchildren. We won't be together for Christmas, so this is our special holiday.

Diane, I have to tell you that Molly (DoodleBug) and I have just spent the last 30 minutes or so looking over your blog. She saw the facebook pictures of Eli and Ruby and just had to see more so I brought her to the blog. We looked at all the pictures and watched the video of the garden tour and she just loved every bit of it! I think it all brought her a bit of comfort from losing her friend last weekend too. Anyway, she said, "Mom, we just HAVE to meet her in person one day!"
