Not Friday Again Already, Surely?!

Good morning, good afternoon, good evening folks - there, I think I've covered all the greetings for wherever you might be in the world as you read this little Post.

I simply can't believe that it's Friday again already - my life is simply disappearing before my very eyes, and at my age, that's not such a good thing !  I suppose I'm in the Autumn of my life.  Well, Autumn can be quite delightful, so I intend to sit back and enjoy the ride.

To be honest, I am very grateful to still be around. I have lost several friends over the years that have died far too young.  A couple very suddenly, and a couple after suffering illness, but I'm grateful that they were in my life, and for the happy memories that they left behind.

In this country, we talk about the weather quite a lot, but, my goodness, I'm thankful that our weather is fairly steady, when I look at what is going on in America at the moment.

Raging fires in some States, the devastation in Texas, which I touched on in a previous Post, and now they have Hurricane Irma threatening to hit Florida quite soon. I pray for all those involved and that all my bloggy friends down that way will keep safe.  What a worry that must be!

My last Post involved the word Kindness. It's really spooky, but I have seen that word mentioned on Facebook quite a lot since I wrote it. I really like this picture ....

There is a little story behind the photo. Harper Collins UK made this postbox so that all those working in the building could post kind notes to each other, to coincide with publication of that little book on kindness.

Well, my youngest grandchildren went back to school this week, so I won't be seeing them quite so much again now, but I'm grateful for all the fun and happy times that I spent with them during the Summer holidays. Memories made and precious times to be treasured.

My eldest granddaughter returned to University this week, and I am so proud of her, as she starts her third year at Madrid University.

So looking back, yes, it's been a good Summer and once again, I feel thankful.

So little peeps, I wish you a happy weekend ahead, and for those in America affected by the weather, I hope you all stay safe.

This one made me smile ....

Hi Thisisme. Well, I'm getting around earlier this morning! I guess Eli and Ruby are excited to be back in school and reunited with their schoolmates! Friday does seem to come faster for us these days, doesn't it, and we are having an unusually cool morning today at 63 degrees! I love it!

Your summer photos are really good. Eli and Ruby will enjoy the summer memories in later years also. Thank you for sending so much kindness our way this summer. It sure has been a summer we will all remember! We do need to put our 'kindness' caps on and leave them on permanently, as everyone can use some kindness right now!

Lovely post. You take care also, my friend! Hugs from Texas! ♥

Hallo Suzanne - my, you were on the ball with your comment today. 😊 I hope Scooter is enjoying being back st school as well. That certainly was a nice cool morning for you at 63 degrees. 63 degrees would be pleasantly warm to us over here! Funny, isn't it?! Hope all is well with you, my Texan friend. Thank goodness you weren't affected by the flooding in your State, and that you're not in the path of Hurricane Irma. Worrying times over there. Enjoy your weekend. Hugs.

LOVE THE LAST PHOTO ♥ Love all your photos. Yes I know what you mean , my weeks are flying by, which is unusual as they don't normally. Maybe with work and all that has gone on .. Little Amelia started school this week too.

Lots of devastation has taken place , it is just too sad :-( for all.

I do like Autumn , but I really enjoyed the heat of Malta , except for one day , which was beyond hot. It did me good.

Enjoy the rest of your week and take care xoxo

Thank you so much for leaving a comment, Anne. I like Autumn, but only if it's nice and dry! Hope Amelia enjoyed school. Bless her. They grow away far too quickly, I'm afraid. Take care x
