Happy, Peaceful and Joyful Christmas...

Hi everyone. I just wanted to pop in to wish you and your families a very happy, peaceful and joyful Christmas.

It can be quite a hectic time of the year, but I hope that we can all take a moment to remember the true meaning of Christmas, and to honour it in our hearts.  Also, to be grateful for the family and friends that bring love and joy into our lives, and to remember loved ones that are no longer with us.

I shall be spending Christmas Day with my youngest daughter and her family. The two little ones are 9 and very nearly 8, so a lovely age to bring excitement to the day. I shall be thinking of my eldest daughter and her family who will be at their home in Ibiza. My eldest granddaughter was 20 a couple of weeks ago, so we will be missing them around our Christmas table, but with sunny skies and temperatures still in the high sixties, who can blame them for staying over there. Also, Christmas isn’t really a good time to be travelling, with the inevitable delays and perhaps the possibility of bad weather.

I’d like to thank you for all your support of my Blog over this past year, and look forward to seeing you all again in 2018!

Hi Thisisme! You are so right about the truest meaning of Christmas, and we should all remember that. It reminds me of our trip to the grocery store today. It has been raining for two days now, and it finally did stop this morning. As we passed a house in the neighborhood who always has a multitude of decorations for Christmas, I noticed that their Nativity figures are set up on the front porch under an awning instead of out in the middle of the front yard, as is usual. The homeowners thought so much of these figures that they chose to protect them from the weather. And, I admire them for that.

I'm glad you are spending Christmas with your two little ones and family, and I hope your family on Ibiza does have a wonderful Christmas also. It comes and goes pretty fast, I didn't think I could get ready, but it seems as though I'm going to get there after all!

See you soon, dear friend. Love your Christmas post! ♥

Have a wonderful Christmas with your little ones, they'll grow up so soon as you know.
We are spending ours with our family all gathering at our son's home. I'm looking forward to it. Merry Christmas.

Hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas day together. What a choice , Ibiza with sun or travelling to the UK . I know what it is like travelling home for Christmas , mind you , my children were not 20 , they were 8 and 1 .. and we had to come from Germany and then Scotland . I have always said to my boys , stay in your own homes Christmas day and then come to me on Boxing day . Different now though.

Unfortunately I have to work Christmas day and boxing day , :-( so no point going anywhere. This is due to not having an understanding boss. I hope I can get out of here soon unless things change. I am going to be Optimistic :-) ♥

I look forward to your blogging next year. I have a few posts to do and then I am going to see what to do. undecided. xx

Hi there Diana (doodles and daydreams). Yes, the little ones grow away far too quickly. Sounds like you have a lovely day planned with all the family there. Happy Christmas, and wishing you a joyful and healthy new year.
