Romantic Films? See If You Agree....

Continuing along the lines of my romantic theme, I have decided to list some of my favourite romantic films.  You might agree, or you might have your own special romantic film.

I must start off by letting you know my two very favourite black and white movies, which I absolutely love.

The first one was made in 1942, and is Now Voyager, starring the wonderful Bette Davis and Paul Heinreid.  I could watch this movie again and again, and one of my favourite quotes comes, in fact, from this movie.

The quote? "Oh Jerry, we have the moon.  Don't lets ask for the stars."  Just typing that quote, makes me go funny all over!

The second black and white movie is Camille (Lady of The Camellias), starring Greta Garbo and Robert Taylor (who my mum adored!).  This is an even earlier film, which was made in 1937.  Every time I watch this film, I weep absolute buckets).

Here are my other choice of romantic films, and I'm sure you have your own list.  These are in no particular order!

Casablanca

Ghost

Gone With The Wind

Love Story

Pretty Woman

Sleepless In Seattle

The Notebook

Titanic

Dirty Dancing

I hope you enjoyed the films I have chosen, and I would very much like to hear your particular favourites.

See you again soon.

Romantically yours, your friend "thisisme".
