This first one is of granddaughter number 1 and Papa, having a laugh at my expense!
I love this next photo of Eli and Ruby, as they are both looking at the book and he is holding her hand! Eli was eighteen months here, and Ruby just a couple of months. Who would have thought that she would have her lovely curls looking at that picture!
The following two pics were taken a couple of years ago on my 64th birthday.
The following pic was taken outside the glass pyramid in Paris, which is attached to the famous Louvre Museum (which houses the Mona Lisa). on one of my trips visiting daughter number 1 and her family. This pyramid became famous because it featured in Dan Brown's book, The Da Vinci Code.
I just couldn't resist putting in this last one of Ruby, which I took a few days ago, whilst she was spending the day with me. I could just eat her!!
Whilst writing, I would just like to thank all those of you that left such lovely comments on my post about my friend Doreen. I know that I don't reply to individual comments any more (and I still feel guilty about that), but I hope you understand. It's just what is right for me, otherwise I feel it all running away from me again, and that is not what blogging should be about. It shouldn't put us under pressure. That doesn't mean that I don't love to read your comments and I really do appreciate them. So thank you!
Emma and the family are over from France this weekend, just for a flying visit. They have come over to see Kelly, who is now in the Hospice. Apparently, the tumours in her back are now so painful that there is nothing more that they can do to control the pain. All they can do is sit with her and hold her hand. (For my newer Followers, Kelly is my daughter's best friend, and Eleanor's Godmother. She is only 42 years old and has a little girl the same age as Ruby, three years old. ) It is just so sad that she has had to go through all this. Your prayers, once again, would be appreciated my friends. Thank you.
