Hi there little Bloggies. Hope you're all doing well on this Frolicksome Friday! Do you ever like using words to match a day of the week. It can be fun trying to come up with something a little different.
For example, we could have a Melodious Monday, a Tantalizing Tuesday, a Worrysome Wednesday, a Tainted Thursday, a Fantasmagorical Friday, a Supercilious Saturday and, finally, a Serendipitous Sunday!
Well, as you can see, I'm feeling in a silly mood today, as I try to come up with something worth reading! I may be in the autumn late summer of my life, but I still love being silly and having fun. That's why I like it when the family are here, because we do usually have some laughs. Hubby, on the other hand, doesn't really 'do' fun. He is really good in the work situation, and, in his position as a County Councillor, he does tremendous work, and everyone looks up to him. He is on the Cabinet of the Council, so he has responsibility for a huge number of issues, and works extremely hard. He is also brilliant if anything goes wrong, either in the house, or just generally. We can rely on him to sort things out. I can remember several instances when the girls were young children, and had accidents of one sort or another, I would tend to go to pieces, but he would just take charge, so thank goodness for that I say! But "fun" - not really, although he does surprise us from time to time by saying something witty! We all stop then and say, "oh we must write this date in our diary. Dad has said something funny."
He might be important at work, but it doesn't hold any sway once he's home with us! LOL!!
In my last post, I mentioned that we must always have HOPE, and I received a comment from a dear bloggy friend, and she explained that she had been on a downer all this year, and that it was her bloggy friends that were helping to keep her sane. She had read about having 'hope' and said that it had really made her think about things, and how she must try to get her old self back again. She went on to say that God uses our posts in ways that we may never know, which I found quite touching.
So, to you, all my dear bloggy friends, I know that there are lots of you out there who are suffering pain, going through dark times, and struggling to cope with certain situations in your life, but I really do pray that 'hope' will always burn in your hearts, for if we don't hang on to that, then all is lost.
