ANY of the above courses, diplomas will be issued to the survivors.

I have tried to be good whilst the family are here, so my little laptop hasn't been switched on, and I have refrained from blogging, so you may have missed me from your recent posts (then again, you probably haven't even noticed that I wasn't there! Hee Hee!).  Normal service will be resumed next week.

Everyone who left a comment on my anniversary post will be  included in my giveaway.  All the family will be here for lunch on Saturday and the draw will take place then, just so that they can make sure there is no cheating going on!  I will post a photo as well.

I hope you're all being good in my absence!  Hugs.

Your list was too funny! My husband was just asking me yesterday why I have so many different soaps and shampoos. And they do take up much more space than his lonesome little stash.

We all miss you when you are gone, but we know you are having a smashing time with your family. Savor every moment!

Ha, ha! That's hilarious - love it :)

These courses all appear to have been designed by a man, Thisisme. I know I'm supposed to laugh at them but since they reveal the absolute basic truths about women I see no reason to. :) Your smiling face and cheery disposition are always missed on my blog but so far you haven't missed any of my posts. I publish again tomorrow but I will certainly understand if you don't have time to visit and have a look at it before Nov. 1st when the next one hits. Is there any way that Alfred can be the one to draw the lucky winner's name? Enjoy your family's visit, my dear friend!

OH I needed this Diane! I'm going to have another procedure on my back this AM and not looking forward to the process or recovery! When I'm feeling puny, I'll just pull up your funnies and start smiling!

Enjoy your time with the family...nothing as special in all the world is there?

Hugs~

We have missed you my friend!

This was ever so funny :) So pleased to know you're devoting your energies to your real life family. We, your blogging family, haven't missed you in the slightest ;) It's given us the freedom to get up to all sorts of mischief in your absence!

Hmmmm! I've just read the first couple of lines of Mr Shady's comment...I'm peeved! I think we'll have to demote him in our estimations!

My dear, of course you are missed, but I respect your free time :) And I did have a laugh, thanks!

Hi Diane, I did enjoy your poster. It's a bit worrying when I can relate to most of it! I am so sorry I missed your 1 year anniversary...Congratulations! Your photo of you with Ruby and Eli is just gorgeous! Hope you are having a great time with the family. Much love to you (you old pro.!!), love Linda x

That was so funny and most of it kind of true - lol. My husband has one bottle of shampoo that is for body and head and that is it! I have a ton of shampoos. sandie

Shelly - glad you enjoyed the list today! Yes, i'm making the most of the family, but it's such a shame about the weather. Pouring with rain every day :(

Gawgus things - glad you liked it!

Shady - Well, Mr Shady, you will see that you have blotted your copybook with our dear friend Desiree over in South Africa. She is like Queen Victoria, and is "not amused!" Absolute basic truths about women indeed! Good job we know that you are just joshing. (Ahem!!). Glad that I haven't missed any of your posts. I couldn't trust Alfred to pick out the name, as he would just eat it before I had chance to see who had won!! LOL!

Sush - oh my poor friend. I do pray that it went well for you and that you make a good recovery. I can imagine that you're not looking forward to any of it. Not pleasant for you. Please take care. Sending hugs to you.

Desiree - your comment did make me smile, my friend! You will see that I have told Mr Shady that we are displeased with him today! I just knew that you would be getting up to all sorts of mischief. :)

Glenda - thank you my friend!

Claudia - thank you my friend! I'm trying to keep up with that Gawgus!!

flowers on my table - hi there Linda. Thank you for the congratulations my friend. Glad you liked the funnies today. I've never been called an old pro before by the way!! Hee Hee!!

Chatty Crone - I thought that you would find these funny. I liked the one about the toilet seat. Hee Hee!! Hope all is well with you. Hugs.

Being good? Gee that's no fun...I'm running amuck and I'm staying up late too - if you're having fun then I say "me too"!

I'm thinking of enrolling in the class or two, but I don't see one for "Confused - Forgetful - Over Fifty - for women wanting clarification, guidance and strategies on how to run away from it all". If this class were available I'd be the first on the list.

Have fun with the family - I look forward to your return.

Cheers, Jenny

Pearson Report - Hi Jenny. I can just picture you being naughty, staying up late and running amok! Hee Hee!! I can remember when I was in my 50's, I often used to think of running away from it all, but here I am in my 60's, and I don't want to run anywhere at all! See you soon.

I had such a great laugh at the classes offered, especially the one titled: I was Wrong and He was Right. I'm afraid that hasn't happened in my marriage so I'd like to hear those testimonials!

I have missed you and have thought of you quite often because I am praying Eli is doing well. I hope he has his energy back. God bless.

Oh, Dearest Lady.
So sad that I really am busy and don't have much time to figure out your post. Haha, kind of sad not being able laugh right away.... poor my ability!!! I'll have foreigner's help♬

Have a gorgeous time with your family♡♡♡ And I sent you a return mail for my post, I'm happy you read it. Well, written in haste(^^;)

Retired English Teacher - Glad you found them funny! Think we all need a smile sometimes.

Linda - You're right, I just couldn't keep away, although I was trying hard to be good!

Bethe - thanks for popping across today. Yes, the toilet seat one was very good. Fortunately, after all these years, my husband is fully trained not to leave the seat up!!!

Belle - thank you my dear friend. I am glad to say that little Eli does seem to be fully recovered again now. Praise the Lord! Hope you and all your family are doing okay. Hugs.

Orchid - hallo dear friend from the East! Oh, I'm so sorry you didn't understand the funnies. But it would be very difficult in a language that isn't your own. Hope you have a good weekend. Hugs to you.

That was great! I need to sign up for a few of those classes! I'm so glad to know that I'm not the only one who's been away from blogging and commenting...we would miss too many things in the real world if we only stayed online.
