Hallo, dear Thisisme! Thanks for the salute to your American friends and for displaying the red, white and blue. I hope you are feeling as good as you looked in your latest photograph. Have a splendid Wednesday, dear friend Thisisme!
How cute of you to celebrate with us! I LOVE it! And the pics are great. :)
We'll enjoy Pooldad's day off, some interesting food [you saw! No regular hot dogs and beans for this 4th of July. heehee] and some fireworks. It will be nice to relax. :)
Have a great day my friend. Take care.
Thank you for such a lovely display for the 4th of July my sweet friend. It doesn't surprise me that one of the prettiest displays of Independence Day come from across the pond. I'll always say you have the most attractive blog out there my friend. We could all take lessons from you on how to do it right. Hope you get to see some sun today.
Hugs,
Odie
Lovely pictures today Diane!
I am joining in to wish our American friends a Happy Independence Day!
Hope you're having a lovely Wednesday my friend.
Big hugs

Thank you so much, sweet Diane, for your lovely wishes! And I do detect some of our beautiful Southern drawl today, too! I hope your day is wonderful~
Thank you Diane! That was so thoughtful of you to remember this day. For some reason I feel sad on this day, no matter what, every year. Every year there's a lot of hoopla with parades and fireworks but I have a hard time feeling great... Maybe it's the heat, or the fact that it's really sad to think that freedom to self govern came at the expense of lives on both sides. This year I'm being completely boring and staying in out of the oppressive heat and cleaning my house instead. I hope you are feeling better each day! Take care...
Happy fourth of July have a wonderful day XOXO
Hugs and happy wishes for a beautiful day! xo
How sweet of you to send wishes our way!
Thank you and blessings to you and yours!
Thank You Diane♥
Dear Diane,
As a Canadian married to an American, I get the double-whammy of back-to-back weekend celebrations: Canada's Dominion Day on the first, and Independence Day on the fourth. This year, we are in Maine on the fourth. After the Harborside parade, we pledged allegiance, sang God Bless America, listened to the Gettysburg Address recited by a high school valedictorian, and then Poet Laureate Don Hoffman read the Declaration of Independence and a poem by Emerson. The rain held off during the parade and festivities, but it's closing in on us again. Thank you for your sunny pictures of the red, white and blue. You are a true friend to remember and celebrate with us. :)
