Try to Keep a Twinkle in your Wrinkle! ....

I thought I would give you something a little different this Sunday, and I hope you enjoy.  I think there are quite a few little gems in this video and, as you can see, I particularly liked the one about trying to keep a twinkle in your wrinkle! That's something I always try to do!

I'm a firm believer in "age is just a number" and I certainly intend to grow old disgracefully.

Anyone who keeps the ability to see beauty never grows old.--Franz Kafka.

Another belief of mine: that everyone else my age is an adult, whereas I am merely in disguise.--Margaret Atwood.

At age 20, we worry about what others think of us.
At 40, we don't care what they think of us.
At 60, we discover they haven't been thinking about us at all.--Jock Falkson.

I believe the second half of one's life is meant to be better than the first half. The first half is finding out how you do it. And the second half is enjoying it.--Frances Lear .

I hope that all of you are smiling today and just remember to keep a twinkle in your wrinkle, and all will be well!

Hallo, dear Thisisme! It always amazes me how often women dwell on the subject of growing older. I welcome aging as a challenge. As each birthday approaches I gear myself up, determined to work harder, become a better person, and get myself in better shape mentally and physically than I was the year before. I very much dislike the word "wrinkles," don't you? "Laugh lines" isn't much better. Remember when I wrote that Dell rats proudly wore blood, dust and dirt on their jackets as symbols of valor? I prefer to think of facial lines and creases as medals of honor to be worn proudly by man or woman as symbols of a lifetime of love, dedication, service and achievement. I hope you are feeling well, dear friend Thisisme. My thoughts are with you often.

Another lovely post my sweet friend and I enjoyed the video a lot especially that first picture it showed. Had to say it.
The cartoons were great too and had me smiling so it worked. Have a wonderful rest of your Sunday.
Hugs,
Odie

Hi Thisisme. I loved your video, and, the one about 'it's better to have a mind lift, than a face lift." You know, that can be true. You don't notice your age when your mind is up and feeling good...and, happiness engulfs you! Love your Sunday post. Have a good week!♥

Hi Diane, I so much agree with you that age is just a number, I believe that it's all in your attitude. I believe that you don't have to act in a certain way because you've reached a certain age.
Have a lovely Sunday evening my friend!
Big hugs xx

::ahem:: Those are not wrinkles Missy, those are SMILE lines thank you very much. giggle

Honestly - that is what I call them because that is truly [I think] where all those creases in my face came from, especially around my eyes. Pooldad has them too - I call them his crinkles. [silly, but hey, works for us :D]

I sometimes have to remind myself that we are middle aged - goodness knows I don't feel it and hubs certainly doesn't look or act it. Kind like you and yours I suspsect, eh?

I love, love, love your new header. Vintage-y with a flash of blush pink. Nicely done sweetheart.

Enjoy your week. I will try to go back and catch up with you on your blog - I have been wondering how you holiday is going [has gone?] I do know without reading anything that you two are having a wonderful time.

Hugs and best wishes my friend. xox Skippy
