Retro Caravans ....

I realized that I hadn't done a Pinterest post for a very long time, so here goes!

I have been thinking of retro caravans and how lovely it would be to put one at the bottom part of our one acre garden. Imagine how Eli and Ruby would love that! Here are some images that I found on Pinterestwww.pinterest.com

I hope you enjoyed this look back at these pretty little homes.

Hallo, dear Thisisme! Yessum, retro caravans hark back to yesteryear when people who used tiny travel trailers like these were called "tin can tourists." Caravans replaced tents for those who wanted more comfort when taking scenic tours of the country. Eventually, caravans were replaced by larger, more deluxe and more expensive recreational vehicles - "homes on wheels." Bigger isn't always better. I can picture a brightly colored retro caravan parked on your property surrounded by flowers and used by the kids as a playhouse. They'd have loads of fun! Thank you, dear Thisisme, and have a wonderful Wednesday!

Oh, I so enjoyed looking at these! My parents are looking to get one like one of these vintage ones to put in their garden, too. I just think they make the neatest, most relaxing space~

Would make a great little retreat for me in the garden. Caravanning is not for me, only reminds me of my childhood,, well the middle years,, I can just see it now,, getting the awning up, it is piddling it down ,, we are all cramped .. no way,

Hi Thisisme! I took a sneak peek at your post from my office today. Oh, we can look at stuff, but, we can't blog, or message anyone at work. So, I have to wait until evening to give comments.

But, they're fabulous! I enjoyed this immensely...especially the one with all of the lights around it! What fun that would be, just to sneak away with your honey, and enjoy a cozy weekend (well, as long as there is electricity, water, music and food)! haha!

This was so sweet-retro caravans! I loved it! See you later!♥

What a great idea! I love those 'trailers' as we would call them here. I think 'retro caravan' is much more apt. Especially since they are decorated so wonderfully. Surely these are not a grubby old hunter or fisherman's shack! My elderly neighbor who passed away last year built a trailer for his family and drove his wife and two sons all the way to Canada one year. They made the best memories!
