I realized that I hadn't done a Pinterest post for a very long time, so here goes!
I have been thinking of retro caravans and how lovely it would be to put one at the bottom part of our one acre garden. Imagine how Eli and Ruby would love that! Here are some images that I found on Pinterestwww.pinterest.com
Hallo, dear Thisisme! Yessum, retro caravans hark back to yesteryear when people who used tiny travel trailers like these were called "tin can tourists." Caravans replaced tents for those who wanted more comfort when taking scenic tours of the country. Eventually, caravans were replaced by larger, more deluxe and more expensive recreational vehicles - "homes on wheels." Bigger isn't always better. I can picture a brightly colored retro caravan parked on your property surrounded by flowers and used by the kids as a playhouse. They'd have loads of fun! Thank you, dear Thisisme, and have a wonderful Wednesday!
You made me miss our little camper, but only for a moment. Now we do hotels :)
Oh, I so enjoyed looking at these! My parents are looking to get one like one of these vintage ones to put in their garden, too. I just think they make the neatest, most relaxing space~
I like the aqua polka dot one - wish I had one of these! sandie
Would make a great little retreat for me in the garden. Caravanning is not for me, only reminds me of my childhood,, well the middle years,, I can just see it now,, getting the awning up, it is piddling it down ,, we are all cramped .. no way,
Hi Thisisme! I took a sneak peek at your post from my office today. Oh, we can look at stuff, but, we can't blog, or message anyone at work. So, I have to wait until evening to give comments.
But, they're fabulous! I enjoyed this immensely...especially the one with all of the lights around it! What fun that would be, just to sneak away with your honey, and enjoy a cozy weekend (well, as long as there is electricity, water, music and food)! haha!
This was so sweet-retro caravans! I loved it! See you later!♥
loved this so much. I dream of a nice travel trailer we can take across country xo
You should definitely get one in your garden. It would be an attractive feature!

What a good idea to put a retro caravan in your garden. Wouldn't Ruby love using it for a play house!
What fun Eli and Ruby would have in one of these! They are so cute and homey. I hope you can find one.
Great pics. I hope you have a blessed weekend. Also thank you for all the supportive comments you send me, both here and on facebook. :) God Bless
Oh, how marvelous one of these Caravans would look in your wonderful garden and your precious Eli and Ruby definitely love it♡♡♡ In Japan, as you may guess not many people have caravan. How gorgeous they look in your beautiful country(^_^)彡☆
Sending you lots of love and hugs from Japan, xoxo Miyako*
What a great idea! I love those 'trailers' as we would call them here. I think 'retro caravan' is much more apt. Especially since they are decorated so wonderfully. Surely these are not a grubby old hunter or fisherman's shack! My elderly neighbor who passed away last year built a trailer for his family and drove his wife and two sons all the way to Canada one year. They made the best memories!
Thank you for the wonderful blog. It is indeed informative and useful We are into the same business. For know more about us, please visit HIRING CARAVANS OR CAMPER TRAILERS today.
