It’s A Winter Wonderland In The Garden Today ❄️

Hallo again everyone.  Sunday greetings to you all.  It appears that the Beast From the East is with us again here in the South Hams of Devon.  Easter is only a couple of weeks away now, so here’s hoping that the weather will start to warm up very soon.  Even the little ones were saying this morning that they’ve had enough of the snow! 😂😂

So I decided to venture out into the garden this morning, to take some photos for you.  I hope you enjoy them.  Meanwhile, I hope the week ahead will be kind to you, and I’ll pop in again next week.

I found a few snow quotes on Pinterest....

You got some beautiful snow pictures, Thisisme! I love the one of you standing outside with the snow all around, and your lady hens pecking around to dig the food out from underneath. Looks like you had at least 6-8 inches, and what a job it will be when it starts melting! Sometimes the aftermath of snow is messier than rain. It is good to see that your daffodils are trying to hold up to it, and I'll bet your other gardens flowers will flourish too!

Scootie is getting excited for Easter. I guess they don't outgrow the need to hunt eggs! He had a pretty good time last year hunting on our property. Sometimes we get rained out, so I'm hoping for nice sunshine and no bees!

I enjoyed your snow quotes, and hope things start warming up for you within the next day or so to give you some relief. Have a sunny week, dear friend-sending hugs and sunshine your way!

Hallo Suzanne, my loyal blog supporter! Someone commented on my SouthhamsDarling Facebook today from Texas, and they said it was 90 degrees! Is that the same where you are? ! Phew! That’s HOT. You’re right about the after effects of the snow. They’ve already said that the roads will be icy and freezing in the morning. I really do hope that the weather will be good for Easter. As you say. We have Easter egg hunts to arrange. The children always love those, don’t they? I’m glad you enjoyed the photos today my friend. Hope your week goes well. Look after yourself ❤️

Your snow garden photos are so pretty and great snow quotes from Pinterest. I like the one about friends being like snow flakes. But, when it comes to weather, sometimes I feel like Eeyore. :) Stay warm and I hope your snow goes away soon.

Hallo Babs. Really lovely to see you here, so thank you so much for popping over to leave a comment I’m glad you enjoyed the snowy garden photos. It really looks so pretty, but, as we’re just not used to it over here, it does cause chaos. The shops are only just getting over the last lot!! Yes, I can be a bit like Eeyore as well! Hopefully I’ll be able to post some sunny photos very soon 😊

Lovely photos. I enjoy seeing them as we have been experiencing an extremely hot summer this year, no relief even at night time. Still the season is beginning to change now and the early mornings are beginning to feel quite autumnal.

Hallo Diana from doodles n daydreams. Long time no see! I hope you are keeping well over there! I’m glad you enjoyed the snowy pics, especially as you have had such a long, hot Summer. That could be quite wearing, I would think. At least you now have your Autumn to look forward to, whilst we over here are looking forward to Springtime! Take care.
