On Friday 18th March (tomorrow) I will not be posting on my Blog, as I will be joining in with the Blogger Day Of Silence for Japan.
It's cold over there, and most are without electricity, water, food, shelter and more.
On top of that, many have to deal with the loss of loved ones.
The immediate need for help really lies in helping the survivors.
May your pockets be heavy and your heart be light,
May good luck pursue you each morning and night.
~Irish Blessing
For each petal on the shamrock
This brings a wish your way-
Good health, good luck, and happiness
For today and every day.

With you all the way! All these natural disasters are getting increasingly scary..
I too am with you my sweet friend. Hard to find words to even comment about their disaster.
great post and happy st. patrick's day. prayers to Japan
Nicely expressed, Thisisme! A disaster of that proportion puts our everyday worries and hassles into perspective, doesn't it? There is always somebody worse off than we are, and quite often much worse off. Happy St. Patrick's Day to you!
A thoughtful tribute to join forces with Diane.
Bethe77 - don't envy you with your computer problems. Yes, it's awful. There was a husband with two tiny children on last night. The mum had saved her children, and was then swept away. So upsetting. Hope your client hears that her loved ones are safe.
Gawgus things - Yes, I see that you have joined in with this one as well.
Odie - as you quite rightly say, it's hard to find words to express how we feel. Our prayers are with them.
LindyLouMac - I think it's the least we can do, to try to show some sort of support.
Becca - thank you.
Shady - you are SO right about putting our little problems into perspective.
Thank you This is me! Will do the same!
Happy St Patricks Day. Japan is certainly dealing with more than their share at the moment. The earthquake was devasting but the tsunami was even worse. Tears wouldn't stop as I watched this unfold. Have a good weekend.
Claudia - Glad you're going to join in on this one.
Becca's Dirt - I love that name! Lovely of you to pop over, and you are right. It is heartbreaking to watch and be able to take it all in. I'm hoping that the weather will warm up a little over here in time for the weekend.
I will join up too. God bless, and have a nice St. Patrick's Day.
You are extremely thoughtful and I was not aware of this so thank you for bringing it to our attention. I heartily agree with you. I cannot even imagine how these poor people are coping.
Huge hugs to you and a very happy St Patrick's Day to you too..lovely lines you have chosen

Belle - I love your new profile piccie. A vision in pink!
Chatty Crone - thank you!
Facing50Blog.com - it's all pretty desperate watching all these poor people on the news, isn't it, searching for their loved ones. Glad you liked the Irish blessings. Hope that hubby is behaving himself! x
It looks like many of us are on the same page with this. I am so glad you are joining in and spreading the word too. Surely our collective prayers and positive thoughts will help in some way...I hope so anyway.
Take care and best wishes always,
Natasha.
Natasha - I like to think that all our prayers and positive thoughts will help in some small way. It's such a dreadful situation over there.
Thisisme, you are truly a thoughtful person. I was not aware of the day of silence for Japan. Thank you for sharing it with us. It's wonderful to visit your blog and read everyone's comments because it helps to know that although we feel devastated, we are all praying together.
