Inspiration!

From what I've been reading in my comments recently, I am not the only one going through a bit of a barren patch  when it comes to writing blog posts.

Inspiration

"The action or power of moving the intellect or emotions;
Any stimulus to creative thought or action.
A prompting of something to be written or said;
The quality or state of being inspired."

Does that help you at all? Nope?  Me neither!

Inspiration can come to us in many forms, from the people around us and their own inspirational creations, like books, music and art, or even in their regular expressions of words, deeds and action.

It can come to us from the world around us, especially in nature.  Or it can come in the form of a sudden, brilliant idea (I tend not to have too many of those!! LOL!) or realization.

You know how I love quotations of any kind, so I thought it would be nice to have one for the start of the week.

“All that is gold does not glitter,
not all those who wander are lost.
The old that is strong does not wither,
deep roots are not reached by the frost.
From the ashes a fire shall be woken,
a light from the shadows shall spring.
Renewed shall be blade that was broken,
the crownless again shall be king.”

-J.R.R. Tolkien

Let's hope that we all find inspiration for our blog posts over the coming days and weeks!

I really enjoyed reading your blog about inspiritation. It makes me nervous writing this blog thinking about not having anything to say or any inspiritation. Yet I do know that happens. I think everything you share with us Thisisme is inspiritational. I love your quote!
I guess tha is why i got into the different challenges so that I would have something to write about. What scares me is what if I didnt have them. The what would I write.
Thank you for always stopping by and visitng. I love reading your comments. They brighten my day so very much. Yes! Im feeling much better thank you; and you?
Im looking forward to a very busy week ahead. I had to reschedule all my work I missed last week for this week. So... much work ahead. Im already looking forward to the weekend.
Pray you have a blessed week
Blessings

Ahh... yes. I have no idea what I will write about tomorrow. Sometimes I have three or four posts saved on draft, other times nothing. I've decided not to worry about it and just post if something comes to mind. So far - nada, so you may not hear from me tomorrow.

Don't worry, something will come. Hey, I just thought of something. I think I will post my five favorite books. What do you think? Would you like to do that too? Or have you already done that? I was going to go to bed, but I now have to decide which books I'll include!

Just share yourself as if you were emailing a friend, Thisisme. Blogging is more about building and maintaining quality relationships than anything else. Nobody expects you to have a brilliant new idea every day. To me the best part of operating a blog is the opportunity to connect with people that I care about on a daily basis, to give and receive friendship and love. All the rest is icing on the cake.

My blog roll is titled "My daily inspirations" because all the people on it inspire me everyday [present company included :)]
I guess sometimes I am lucky because I find the most mundane things interesting/funny and I share. I dont' worry too much if anyone else does. giggle.
Have a wonderful week This.

If I waited to be inspired by brilliant thoughts I would probably post once a year! And that isn't much of a blog. Thank you for visiting and commenting even though I often write about ordinary things. I am always delighted by my visits here. Even when your posts are brief, they are usually uplifting, insightful or entertaining.

Sometimes we have so much to write about that we can't imagine what to choose.

Looking into our hearts . . . that is where the ink flows from.

Things that inspire my blog posts are anything and everything. It could be something I saw, something I did, something I learned, or just something I need to get off my chest. Other times, I am on a roll and will write a few blog posts for future use. It really comes in handy if I'm having a busy or uninspired week.

I always like your quotes!
