Hallo my friends. You were all so supportive with your prayers for Kelly, that I thought I would give you an update.
The disease has spread to the bones of her pelvis, spine and chest. She will be starting a mild form of chemo within the next two weeks and the view is that if the chemo works to reduce the tumours everywhere else, then it will zap those ones too. View of life expectancy is now months, rather than weeks, as previously thought. Dear of her, she is still so positive and enjoying life to the full. Her workmates held a fundraising event for her last evening and raised £3, 000. Kelly and her husband are going to take their little girl to EuroDisney. My daughter took the following photo when they were down in Cornwall on Monday for the brought forward hen night.
Kelly is the third from the right. Doesn't she look fabulous? It's all so surreal, really.
My dear friends, may I please ask you to continue to hold Kelly in your prayers. You never know, that miracle just might happen.
I won't have any Sunday Snaps tomorrow, but I wish you all a very happy St Patrick's Day. It's not something we celebrate very much here in England - unless you're Irish of course!!
I will see you again soon. Take care until then.

Bless her heart. I am continuing to pray for her, and yes, miracles DO still happen. You are such a good and loving friend to her~
Thinking of her ...
Praying still.
I believe in miracles, Diane. I will keep praying. God bless all of you.
Hi Thisisme, thank you for the touching update on Kelly. The news is a bit more inspiring...bless her! And, a most beautiful picture of the ladies! Hope you're doing well, hugs, have a wonderful weekend!♥
There are too many young women dying of cancer - she is the 3rd. What is going on? I will keep her in my prayers. That is the name of my daughter.... sandie
Glad to hear some better news for Kelly.
We celebrated the 18th birthday of a young Bahamian man tonight. He is so sweet and didn't expect to have ANY notice of his special day. All the cruisers put on a pot-luck dinner in his honour and showered him with love. Such a simple thing, but it has great meaning to those who receive it.
Blessings on Kelly. She does look gorgeous! May the months ahead be as pain-free as possible, memory-making for Kelly's little girl and a peaceful goodbye near the very end.

I believe in miracles too, and will continue prayers for Kelly. What a wonderful photo of her surrounded by friends who care.
I do believe in miracles. My friend had brain cancer 25 years ago and she has made medical histoy, as all others with her type of cancer have survived mere months.
Blessings to Kelly and prayers expressed.
I'm getting here late due to family obligations, dear Thisisme. I am convinced that if Kelly can turn weeks into months she can turn months into years. She can do it by continuing to enjoy life to the fullest, staying too busy and having too much fun to give in to the disease. I will continue to pray for her. God bless!
Lovely to be here and to meet your sweet friend Kelly, how very sad for her. I don't like Chemo. I feel that if it was me with cancer I would go with the Vitamin C, I.V.therapy. This is not advocated by doctors, they are always so slow to advocate something new especially when the drug companies don't push it as a money maker. Perhaps Kelly would consider it, you could look up who does it in your vicinity.
This is what I wrote about this on my Health Blog. Blessings sent. Sr Crystal Mary, Registered Nurse.

Dearest Diane,
I DO pray for her, my dear friend. There must be a miracle with all our prayers for her. She sure looks a young sweet lady. And I ADMIRE her attitude for life!!!
The photo is really beautiful with her friends surround her and all of them are having wonderful smile.
Sending you lots of love and hugs from Japan to my dear sweet lady in England, xoxo Miyako*
