Goodbye and God Bless ....

I know that a lot of my bloggy friends have been praying for Kelly and I write this with a heavy heart, for I know just how upset my daughter is at the moment.

Kelly passed away peacefully in her sleep at 4.30 am this morning, having fought courageously to the very end.

My prayers and thoughts are with her husband, three year old daughter, mum and dad, and all her family and friends who supported her so lovingly every step of the way.

Thankfully, Kelly is now out of pain. It is her time to rest and be at peace, although she was taken far too young. I pray that light eternal will shine upon her.

Emma flew home last Thursday and we went straight to the Hospice. She also spent Friday with her dear friend , and Eleanor's godmother. I am so glad about that, because we had interaction with her and she even managed to say a few funny things, and she was aware of things. I was so afraid she wouldn't know Emma.

On the Saturday, she was asleep most of the time, so Emma's time with her was precious indeed.

Make the most of every moment my friends.

What a lovely post at such a sad time. I believe life is about the impression you made while you were living. We can all strive to love more and be kind to others, can't we? Hugs to you and your family at this time. XX

A very tragic loss and one that leaves that hole in your heart. Time eases the pain...we always feel the loss. What an infectious smile...easy to see the joy she brought to all who crossed her path! Much love and prayers for all...hugs and kisses to you, Emma and sweet Eleanor. God bless Kelly and all who know and love her.

Lovely post! So sad. But at least she's no longer in pain, and is at peace. My heart aches.

This is such a tragedy, dear Thisisme, and I feel the pain being endured at this very moment by Kelly's family, by your daughter Emma, by the other women in Kelly's circle of friends and by you.

Kelly's life and her untimely death serve as a lesson for us all. Don't hesitate. Don't procrastinate. Jump into life and live each day to the fullest for there is no guarantee of a tomorrow.

It was a blessing that Emma was able to be at Kelly's bedside on the last day she was alert and communicative. It was a blessing that Kelly knew Emma and it was a blessing that Kelly maintained a sense of humor all the way to the end - another great lesson for us all.

My prayers are with Kelly's husband and little girl and with all those who loved her.

This is a very sad time for all who knew and loved Kelly. Poor dear Emma, losing a close friend at their age when life is just beginning. I think of Kelly's husband and especially her little girl. So sad to grow up without a mother. What beautiful, wonderful people you all are and my thoughts are with you at this time of sorrow.

Hi Thisisme. I'm sorry to be so late...I did see your notice of Kelly's passing on facebook.

I am so sorry for her family and young child. She seems to have been a wonderful loving person and mother, and will be remembered so lovingly.

Emma is such a great and wonderful friend, and she will miss Kelly terribly, but she will think back, and smile and laugh at the fun times and memories with her dear friend.

Take care my dear friend. ♥
