Thankfulness ....

Every so often I like to take stock, and to
remember to be thankful.  To be thankful for all my blessings, for my family, my
health, my friends, my home, and so many other things that are so easy to take for granted.

Obviously, I am thinking about health at the moment, because I had a bad spell during the summer, and now my eldest daughter is suffering.

Emma is now home, but still very delicate   and not able to move about very much. I am thankful that I will be staying on for a while, to help out in any way that I can.

Of course, I am truly thankful for all my Followers, scattered all over the world. You really do give me so much support and encouragement. That's what friendship is all about, isn't it!

I've picked out some quotations from
Pinterest, which I hope you will enjoy.

Hopefully catch up with you all again soon.

Diane, you are one of the loveliest people I know and I'm so happy we are friends all the way across the ocean! I try to remember gratitude every day, too. I do know that there are SO MANY people in the world who have such horrible lives, it hurts me to think about them. Take care of yourself and dear Emma! Hugs...Oh, please stop by my blog and leave a quick comment to be in the drawing for my Memoir!!

Hi Thisisme, there are so many ways to express gratitude for having love, friends and life! You are such a compassionate lady (of a certain age), and I, for one, cherish your friendship. I cannot even express how much it means to get to correspond, laugh and cry with a beautiful friend so far away!

I hope Emma continues to gain strength-you will help get her there! Have a wonderful weekend-see you soon! ♥

Hallo, dear Thisisme! It's Saturday evening and I just returned from my three day trip out of state. I am thankful to be home. You were expecting to return to Devon today and if you made the trip as scheduled I hope you arrived safe and sound. If you elected to stay on in France and assist Emma, then I wish you a safe trip to England when the time comes.

We are all thankful for the encouraging words informing us that Emma was released from the hospital. That's a step in the right direction. Please tell Emma that the power of our collective prayers are at work day and night as we wish her a speedy and complete recovery.

God bless!

Big Amen that Emma is home…I know you are glad to have her back in your care. I echo Claudia, please remember to take care of yourself as well. Remember they tell parents on a plane to put the oxygen mask on themselves first!

Love and best wishes my friend...
