On our travels ....

Hi there everyone. I thought I would just write a little post before the weekend.

As you read this, hubby, Alison and moi will be in the car driving over to France, and I'm hoping that the weather and the traffic will be kind to us.  I'm hoping that it won't be like this anyway! (although don't you just love that vintage red car?!)

Photo: Hope this won't be us as we drive to France tomorrow!

My son in law sent us a text yesterday, with an itinerary for the weekend.  Saturday morning we will be having an English brunch at home, heading for the centre of Paris at midday.  That afternoon, we will be visiting the Pompidou Museum Centre.  Saturday evening we will be having a meal out in a nice restaurant in Paris.

Sunday morning will be Eleanor's present opening followed by a roast birthday dinner in the afternoon.  Sunday evening will be spent relaxing.  I'm really looking forward to it now - we will be setting off again on the journey home on Monday morning.

So I will wish you all a happy weekend, and I will see you again next week.  On the Tuesday I will be watching Eli (as a little angel!) perform in his school Nativity Play.

Don't forget to keep the Christmas spirit alive.

Hallo, dear Thisisme! I hope you are enjoying a problem free trip over to France. I certainly do appreciate that vintage red pickup truck with the two dogs inside. Thanks for posting it!

Mark has a very exciting itinerary laid out for you this weekend. Strolling around Paris and dining at a fancy restaurant, you will be the envy of all your blog and Facebook friends. I hope you and Alison find Emma in good health and spirits to match.

Once again I wish dear Eleanor a very happy birthday and I wish you a safe journey home to South Hams. I also hope you can post pictures of Eli's angelic performance.

Hugs and smooches, dear friend Thisisme!

Hi Thisisme, I guess you've made it to France by now. I just love that old Christmas pickup truck of yours! And, the sweet couple inside.

I hope Eleanor has a wonderful Birthday...will you give her a hug for me? I have no granddaughters to dote on, and she is such a grand girl! Have a great time...I'll try to keep Shady in line while you're gone, lol! Hugs!

What fun plans you have. Happy Birthday to Emma. I too, love that old red pick-up. I like the old cars made before you have to put them on a computer to work on them.

Bon jour, mon Ami! Comment ca va en Paris? Here's hoping you are have a wonderful time en France and that you have dry roads for the journey home. Yes, I am so into the Christmas spirit, all I am doing from now thru Xmas Eve is knit, knit, knit. I still have one sweater to finish by the big day.
Blessings,
Rosemary
