Easter Sunday .... Blessings ....

First of all my friends, Eleanor and I would just like to thank you for all your extremely kind and generous comments on her post about the trip to India.  We were both very touched by them, especially at the length of some of the comments.

Secondly, I would just like to send you blessings and love on this very special day in the Christian Calender, and to wish each and every one of you a very happy and joyous Easter.

As we celebrate Easter, I think it is good to share this time to reflect on life, love, family, and all of our blessings.

I will be off to Church this morning, and then the family that live close by will be coming down later on for a meal and an Easter Egg hunt for the little ones.  Hopefully it will be dry, so that we can hide the eggs all around the garden.

Here are a few vintage Easter Cards that I found on Pinterest.

Please don't feel that you have to leave any comments on this post.  Just relax and enjoy your Easter!

See you all again soon.

A wonderful and happy Easter to you, too. It is pouring rain here, but we are glad for the rain.

Hope your Easter egg hunt for the little ones comes off okay.
Blessings to you.

Happy Easter Diane. We are up early eating biscuits with lemon curd. Then off to church for a very rock and roll service. Then ham and whatever I decide to make. Enjoy your family today. xo, olive

Dearest Diane,
Happy Easter to you♡♡♡ When I learned about Easter through blog friends, I was really moved about all of the meaning behind it.
Wishing you and all of your family (essentially your grandchildren) will be or are having wonderful time with delicacy together.
Sending you lots of love and hugs from Japan, xoxo Miyako*

How blessed we are that Jesus rose from the dead and will raise us also. I love the old cards, and wish you a happy Easter.

Diane, I hope your Easter Sunday was sunny and dry. Ours was and very busy. Tomorrow (Wed.), we move our boat to storage and begin our trip home. We will sleep in our own beds on Sunday night. This new season is one of Grace and Mercy as Our Lord grants us new opportunities to serve Him. Blessings as you move into this new year of love, joy, peace and HOPE.

Happy belated Easter, Diane. Isn't it wonderful that we have a reason to celebrate Easter! Love the vintage cards. It's kinda sad that sending out cards seems to have gone by the wayside. Did a little catching up on your blogs...Congrats on reaching 500 blogs. That's awesome. Great blog and photos by Eleanor. She seems like a very beautiful young lady. I'm extremely jealous of your greenhouse. And I love the story behind your blog name, darling. South Ham sounds like a charming place.

These cards are so much fun! I remember a few of them from when I was a child! It was so nice of you to bring them back for Easter! I hope you had a blessed holiday.
