You are an amazing gardener This! Wow they are gorgeous. I wish I had scratch and sniff or smell-o-vision because I imagine they smell of heaven.

I hope you get to enjoy them for a long time. So lovely.

Yes, you should be very proud because they are gorgious. I love the colors.

Skippy - yes, it's a pity you don't have scratch and smell, because they really do have that lovely, old-fashioned rose scent!

Odie - Thank you my friend.

Wow, I have missed some great things over here, where to start... Love the chicken story, I would love to have some too, maybe someday when we have a bigger garden, I will come back to you when it's time for info about that course. And I truly loved reading your post about having girlfriends, lovely written and yes, girlfriends, even when they are 77, still are girls when they are together, at least that's how I see it. Thanks so much for always leaving such nice comments, enjoy your clean patio! Maureen

Sorry I'm late, Thisisme! Just getting in off the road from doctor visit #3. All is AOK. I regret to inform you, however, that I intend to make a citizen's arrest because you posted text on Wordless Wednesday! (LOL) Do you mean to say that those roses will be faded by wedding day? I hope there are other varieties that will be in full bloom by that time! Cheers, dear friend!

Gawgus things - the roses usually bloom in June here in England, but it's all early because of that hot spell we had a month ago.

Shady - I'm pleased to hear that things are A ok my dear friend. Yes, I'm very much hoping that we will still have some blooms out for the wedding. Take care.

Becca - so pleased you like them, and thank you for your e mail.

Gorgeous roses! My mom used to grow roses in California all through my childhood. I'm sure you will have blooms for the wedding.

What I wouldn't give to have colors and varieties of flowers in a garden like yours. It's absolutely beautiful. Do you have things blooming at various times throughout the spring and summer? It's breathtaking.

Wow! So many shades and varieties and the pictures are great. I need to get out of my comfort zone and grow something besides easy. My mom was a wonderful gardener, but it skipped a generation, lol. Enjoy those roses!

When it comes to roses, no words are ever needed. Their beauty speaks for itself. Yours are simply gorgeous.

Pink roses are so beautiful they are some of my favorite flowers I really have started to find myself being pulled to pink flowers although I have always loved pink carnations.

Thank you for sharing these ones with us they are so beautiful just goes to show beautiful people grow beautiful flowers............

Oh how I love a rose and you have so very many lovely ones! We don't have the sun to get them going...no less growing in our yard so I'll just keep hopping across the pond and enjoy your lovely ladies! Here's to more ladies blooming 'til after the 'Big Day'!

Chatty - gorgeous indeed!! Thank you.

Olive - such a shame that the deer eat yours, but, on the other hand, how lovely to have deer around you!

Belle - lovely that you remember roses from your childhood. I guess you can't grow them where you are now in B.C.!

flowers on my table - I expect YOU could do some stunning displays with my rose collection!! Yes, I do love the old-fashioned ones.

Bouncin'Barb - yes, I am very lucky! From the springtime, there are lots of flowers and colour in the garden, through til about the end of September, depending on the weather of course. Hugs to you dear friend.

Glenda - I'm sure you could do it if you put your mind to it. You are probably far too busy doing other things - like raising chickens for example!!

LV - thank you so much for popping across today. I'm glad you enjoyed the roses!

Jo-Anne Mother and Nana - I love pink carnations as well, and they smell divine. Thank you for your very sweet comment!

Sush - thank you, and, yes, those lovely ladies had better keep blooming for me!!!

My goodness, you certainly do not seem to be lacking in the inspiration you claim to have trouble finding, as I have just been reading ALL the posts I missed while away. It was only a few days and so much seems to have happened, a lot of people have mentioned Bloggers problems, so seemed I absented myself at timely moment! Your garden is looking delightful, I just hope those beautiful roses keep blooming.

Southhamsdarling said...

LindyLouMac in Italy - Gosh, you've done well, catching up on all the posts! I'm afraid I don't feel very inspired some days!! Yes, you were very fortunate to miss out on all the blogging problems. Mind you, it did happen on Friday the 13th!!

I love these rose pictures! You must be quite the gardener to grow these beauties! Are they perfumed?

I hope you have been enjoying some warm days in your garden. It is still quite warm here and I don't think winter is ever going to arrive. I have even seen some frangipani flowers blooming and they are meant to be deciduous plants...sigh!

Take care and best wishes for a lovely weekend,
Natasha.
