Well, here we are, and another week has gone by. Soon be Christmas! Hee Hee!
Marcus Aurelius Antoninus.
Here are a couple of photos from Eli's third birthday party -
My daughter and granddaughter return to France early on Tuesday morning, but will be here again in a couple of weeks, when we will be looking after granddaughter and Alfred whilst my daughter and son-in-law go off on a week's holiday. Granddaughter and I are already making plans for the holiday that just the two of us are going to have next year, and we have decided on Rhodes, one of the Greek Islands, so that will be fun. (Mind you, she will be fourteen and a half by then, and might even have a boyfriend that she won't want to leave!! I can remember all the raging hormones at that age!).
Take care my little bloggy friends and I'll be in touch again soon.

Well here I am the first in line again, Thisisme. That's what I get for still being awake at 1:20 in the morning! Eli is a beautiful boy! With that long blonde hair he looks like young Rod Stewart! I can tell that Ruby Violet had a wonderful time at her brother's birthday party. She's such a cutie! I know all about G-T's upcoming trip and I look forward to more delightful pictures when you dog sit Alfred. Have a wonderful Sunday, dear friend!
LOL Mr Knight, I am right behind you and in your same time zone! I might have been ahead of you if it weren't for Blogger issues when I try to comment.
Anyway, Dear Thisisme what is Eli pointing to with such excitement? The pictures were all so delightful, I'm sure it was a grand Fete!
Enjoy your visit and thank you for sharing...

Beautiful photos. Your grandchildren look like angels that Raphael might have painted. They look like they had a wonderful time. Blessings.
My dear, this is me.
Yes, beautiful, lovely children♡♡♡ Eli will be a handsome little boy in a couple of years. Always love to see your fabulous pictures and wonderful bond of your family.
Also, I love the changes of the
picture of the header♪♪♪ Wonderful lavenders!!!
PS> Your links under the header sort of gave me the idea of making hubby's soba page. As I wrote in my former posts' PS, I've realised that there is a "editing page" function in blogger I could use, instead of making new blogs to link. Haha, took me time than I had used.
I admire you that you're PC expert. Thanks a lot for inspiring me☆☆☆
Lots of Love, xoxo Orchid.
You have a beautiful family, I love the photos you share with us all....it is good of you to watch your granddaughter and Alfred while you daughter and son in-law go on holiday.
Im not sure whether Im wanting the cake to eat with you all or go play with the bubbles; which I must say I have extremely fond memories of bubbles.
Looks like fun was had by all.
Little Eli looks like he truly is enjoying himself along with everyone else.
A vacation with granddaughter what a delight that will be.
Well I must say i dont much care to thnk how qucikly time is going by and that Christmas will soon be here. YIKES!
Enjoy the rest of your visit.
Blessings
I think this may be the favorite part of my wee early Sunday mornings. I just love your snaps - and they bring the biggest smile to my face.
I borrowed Pooldad's computer to leave a decent comment [for once] - so gorgeous This.
Thank you always for sharing.
Now, may I please borrow a few of your lovely grandchildren. heehee :)
Wonderful poictures and you added the lavender to the background, simply love it! My favourite scent as you know. And you are a cool grandma!
Happy Family Snapshots, enjoy the rest of the weekend. Love your lavender :)
Gorgeous pictures of your adorable little lovebugs! The birthday clearly went off with a bang :) You have lots to look forward to, so shouldn't be feeling too sad when your precious ones leave tomorrow.
Your new header is beautiful! I love lavender and yours is such a wonderfully deep shade of blue!
Lovely photos from the birthday party - your grandchildren are very pretty!
I so much agree with that, to live every day to the fullest! And I do love the new picture you've put up on your blog front page - a sea fo blue flowers - very beautiful! Take care my friend and have a lovely Sunday with your family.
Eva
Reminds me of my eldest son when he was younger and the long blonde hair :-)
I cannot believe your first line .. I am not even going to go there .. !!!
lovely photos....they are getting so big!! Sounds like a great day and how exciting to be able to plan something like that with your grand daughter!! hugs to you from across the pond!!
She was so cute - happy birthday to her - looked like a great party - gee - that seems all you have been doing this summer!
Loved this quote:
"Time may be a great healer, but it's a lousy beautician." Anon.
i love your changing headers! my blog is so boring in comparison. lol! i keep thinking i'm going to dress it up but all i get to is the thinking part.
great birthday pictures! i bet you can't wait to go on holiday with your granddaughter. what fun!
Shady - hi there! Hope you have had a good weekend (well, it's Sunday evening at 6 p.m. as I type this. Have been out all day in the SUNSHINE!!!). I love Eli's long blond hair, I must admit. Let's hope he will get as much money as Rod Stewart when he's older. LOL!
Sush - well, you and Mr Knight were both up late last night!! Eli was pointing to the bubbles going up to the sky!
Belle - they are little angels - MOST of the time. Hee Hee!!
Orchid - yes, it is quite simple really to edit separate pages with Blogger, but, believe me, it took me quite a while to learn that. Sometimes it just pays to play around with it for a while. Hope you and your hubby are well over in Japan. Warmest wishes.
Jo-Anne Rambling - Thank you. I don't mind, because my granddaughter and I will get to spend some fun time on our own!!
SkippyMom - lovely to see you here today dear friend, so I'm glad that you managed to sneak a turn on Pooldad's computer! I've been out all day with the family, in the lovely sunshine, but I will now pop over and see your latest comic! Thank you so much for your kind comments.
Claudia - I'm glad you liked the new header photo. I love the smell of lavender as well. Hope you've had this lovely sunshine over there!
LindyLouMac in Italy - thank you! Glad that you enjoyed the new lavender photo also and that you've had a good weekend. Hope you're feeling okay my friend.
Desiree - Hi my friend. It was good to see you back on your blog earlier. I love that word - lovebugs!! Hee Hee!! The lavender is a very deep blue this year. This particular bush is a very old one, and looks really scrabby in the winter, but I am loth to dig it up, because it puts on such a good show in the summer!
EvaMarie - hallo! Hope you're feeling nice and chillaxed this evening. Thank you for your lovely comments, and I'm pleased that people seem to like the photo of the lavender which I only took yesterday.
Anne in Oxfordshire - hi there. Good to see you here today my friend. Do hope that the ankle is improving slowly and that you are finding things to fill your time up there! I love long hair on little boys, I must admit!
Colenic - hi! I've missed you over here. Yes, it's unbelievable really how quickly they are growing away. Eli is pretty tall for just 3. Sending hugs back to you my friend.
Chatty Crone - yes, the quote about time being a lousy beautician was pretty good, wasn't it, and we should know. Hee Hee!! Yes, this summer we do seem to have been pretty busy, don't we, with one celebration after another!!
Teresa - Hallo my friend. Well, I like to vary the header photos for you a little bit, so that you don't get TOO bored!! Yes, going on holiday with my granddaughter will be something special. Hope Ron is going on alright at the moment. I often think of you both.
This, what great pictures of the kids. They are so adorable. Love the outfit on Ruby Violet. How do you let them go home? So great to see your family get togethers. Such love. Talk soon my awesome friend.
Bouncin'Barb - hi dear friend. Thank you so much for your kind comments. Yes, I could eat them really and I do realize just how lucky I am to have them. It was lovely for the family from France to share in the day as well. Hope you and Bruce are doing alright in that love shack of yours!
what lovely photos and the trip sounds like fun. have a wonderful sunday.
