Sunday Snaps!

Hi everyone.  The family arrived late on Friday from France, and I am delighted to say that they have brought the sunshine with them! Here are a couple of photos taken yesterday as we were setting off for lunch in a lovely Italian restaurant overlooking the sea.

I'm really sorry that I haven't been over to comment on your posts, but I had another of my anaphylactic shocks on Thursday, and they wipe me out for a couple of days.  I do hope that I haven't missed anything - please let me know if I have!!

See you soon - sending you all a big hug.

Oh, Thisisme, you were under the weather in more ways than one. I'm sorry you weren't feeling well in recent days. I hope the sunshine and your visiting family members perked you up and that you're feeling just fine. You know how much I care about you, dear friend. Enjoy your weekend!

Hi Shady - would you prefer it if I use your real name after all this time?? Dear friend, you must have been up late again, as you were so quick to comment. I do appreciate your concern. I am hoping that I will soon pick up again as I have the family here. I have to confess to feeling quite poorly still , but can't quite put my finger on it. Hope that all is well with you and that the heat is a little less oppressive now.

I just read up on anaphylaxis, Diane. It sounds quite frightening to experience. Do you know what your triggers are?

Hi, Diane.
I was surprised to hear that you had physical trouble, my dear lady friend. Hope it was not serious one as I heard about the illness a little bbefore.
However, you look happy with your lovely family, which is quite a relief!!!
PS> Thank you for your explanation through mail. I was so glad to know it wasn't another blogger bogged thing, haha.

Take Care of Yourself and hope you're having nice weekend. Love, Orchid

Oh Dear One, I am so sorry that you had a horrid reaction to something. And do so hope, that you can trace the source. So you can avoid whatever caused it, in the future.

You all look just super, in the photos. And you, looking your cute/sweet self, per usual.

Take care!

If you haven't been well, you may have missed my e-mail, telling about my move to Wordpress. And the click-able link, in it.

But all you have to do, is click on my blue 'Aunt Amelia' click-able link in this comment, and be taken to the new home of "Aunt Amelia's Attic."

When you feel better, I hope to see you there.

Gentle hugs...

Oooops, I sent that last comment, too sooon. And it has no click-able link. I'll do it right, this time!

oh my, Diane - that sounds dangerous. Ron has allergies to certain medications that will cause this so I know how serious it can be. He actually coded in the hospital after they gave him a medication that he was allergic to (this happened in 2008 when he was getting his pacemaker).

you take care and have a great time with family.

IWASN'TBLOGGEDYESTERDAY - Hi there. Really good to see you here today. Thanks for popping over. Yes, the allergy thing isn't much fun I'm afraid!!

Desiree - thank you for both comments dear friend. Yes, good to have my precious family here again! Unfortunately, I do not know what the triggers are, although I have extensive tests, so you can see that it's a bit of a problem. The worse thing is that once you have had one of those attacks, your body can suddenly turn against something that you might have eaten right through your life with no problem! Thank you so much for your concern.

Bethe77 - thank you! Yes, hopefully I will start to feel better again now that my family are here. Blessings.

Claudia - I can't believe that you are STILL having that miserable weather over there. Glad you liked the pictures.

Duncan - thank you for popping over today. I did enjoy reading Fidelia's post on Friday! It's not so good when we're not feeling 100% is it?!

Orchid - glad you were able to pick up the post today! Silly me yesterday! Thank you for your kind comments.

Gawgus things - thank you! I don't like it either, but I have someone very caring looking after me at the moment!

Odie - thank you my friend. As you say, good to see the sunshine over here. I will have to pop over to look at your recent posts. Thank you for letting me know.

Pat Mackenzie - thank you so much, and thank you also for always taking the time to pop over and leave a comment for me!

Aunt Amelia - Yes, it is pretty worrying when you don't know what it is that you are allergic to, but thank you for your sweet comments and about the photo too.

Aunt - I will definitely click on the blue link to get over to your new site. Thank you so much for letting me know. Hugs.

Teresa - hallo my friend. Sorry to hear that Ron has a similar problem. It really can be very dangerous and not much fun! Thank you for your concern. I do appreciate it. Hope that Ron is feeling much better now after his spell in the hospital.

lyndylou - thank you so much! Your hugs will help me to feel brighter my friend! Hope you, Holly & gorgeous Jack are doing okay.

Sush - Thank you so much for your prayers and healing thoughts. I certainly do appreciate them. I know how I worry about my bloggy friends if things aren't right in their lives. Take care. Hugs.

You and your family look so lovely in the photos.

I was wondering why I hadn't heard from you. Sure hope you're ok now. You look great in the picture. What caused this attack? That must be so scary. Hugs my friend. Only thing worthy of catching you up is my 205 followers but you might have known that already.

Hi Diane, I'm sad to hear that you are not feeling well and that you have had this experience. It's quite alarming to know that suddenly, without warning, my friend may be in serious trouble. I'm praying that you never have one, ever again. The photos of you with your sweet girls is stunning! So fashionable and happy:)

Unknown said...

I'm sorry to hear you haven't been feeling well! That's such a bummer! You posts haven't been coming up on my feed, I believe, because I was thinking about you this morning and how I haven't seen anything from you - so I went hunting! Found them under your name - darn blogger. I'm making the effort to search for your posts daily until they automatically pop up again! :)

Southhamsdarling said...

Jumble Mash - good to see you! Thank you for your kind comment. Hope the wedding preparations are all going well!!

kneesandpaws - thank you so much, and I really do appreciate your prayers.

Kristina - that's nice of you to actually look out for my blog. I'm afraid I'm having the same problem with quite a few of my friends, who are simply not showing up on my blog roll. It really is such a nuisance :(
