You are early! Your tree looks ever so pretty and festive, Diane. I'll be enjoying everyone's decorations around the world again this year. We don't do traditional Christmas decorating anymore. Somehow, in our hot climate, it no longer feels right. It's perfect in your climate though, making everything cheery and cosy when it's cold and bleak outdoors! Hope you have a lovely day :) Hugs xoxo
I'm slowly getting into the holiday spirit, Thisisme, and this lovely picture helps. Is it really your tree? Like our friend T.D.D. (that darned Desiree), I find it more difficult to get into the mood because of my geographic location. We had the air conditioner running the entire month of November but are currently experiencing a welcome cool down. Hopefully the cooler weather will last through Christmas and New Year. Florida summer officially begins January 1st! (LOL) Have a very happy Wordless Wednesday, dear friend!
Belle - thank you. This is the earliest I have ever put a Christmas Tree up, but the little ones love it and spend ages oohing and aahing over the pretty lights!!
Gawgus - just waiting for you now!!
Desiree - Yes, I am early this year, but it's so lovely to see the pretty lights. I can quite understand how it doesn't feel right in the hot climate, but, yes, when it's cold and bleak outside over here, we can make ourselves all cosy and warm inside. Felt that we needed a bit of brightness after yesterday's post! Lovely to see you here, as always x
LindyLouMac - Hi Linda. For some reason, I feel very festive really early this year, and I am getting very excited about Christmas already!
Dizzy - Hi Carol. Yes, I know what you mean. My youngest daughter has a very small room and the tree just gets in the way sometimes. Have a lovely day up there!
Shady - Hallo dear Tom. I had literally just posted my reply to the other comments, and up you popped! Yes, that is the tree that is up in our lounge at the moment, and it looks lovely and cosy once it's dark outside. I can appreciate that it's hard to get festive when the temperatures are still so high. Can'e believe that summer begins in Florida on the 1st January :) Gawgus and I both really feel the cold, so I think we will have to come over there and take up residence with you dear friend!
Your tree looks very festive. It's so gloomy and rainy here, I think it may be time to get our tree up as well. But, we'll be waiting for a week or two yet.
Dearest Diane, Yey! LOVELY Christmas tree♡♡♡ I think even in Japan, there are many people decorate Christmas tree; but I never have had in my house. Thank you very much for the marvelously decorated one!!! I think I'll print it out because it is made by Southerndarling♬♬♬ Much Love, xoxo Miyako*
Eva - Yes, I'm really getting into the Christmas spirit, even though it is a little early! It's so cheery on these dark evenings. Do hope that you are resting and feeling a little better.
Shelly - Thank you! Yes, Eli & Ruby did help me to decorate it, although I had to virtually start again once they had left. It's lovely to see their little faces each time they come here, which is a couple of times a week.
Linda - I would love to see your snowmen! It is early for the tree, but it helps to cheer us up now that the days are so short over here, and it's starting get colder.
Darlene - hi there. Gloomy and rainy here today as well, so my tree is making it all seem lovely and warm and cosy inside! You could probably decorate your tree with that famous pink feather boa!! Hee Hee!!
Orchid - hallo dear friend Miyako. I'm still loving all your little hearts and things that you put on your comments! I'm glad you like the Christmas Tree today. Shame that you don't have one :( I hope that you and hubby are both keeping well, and that you are not overworking yourself! Hugs to you.
Olive - I see that all your decorations are done as well. It is a lovely feeling, isn't it, and now we have plenty of time to really enjoy them. Usually over here, the decorations don't go up until around 2 weeks before Christmas, but I see from some of my American friends, that they decorate as soon as Thanksgiving is over.
Chatty Crone - Ho Ho Ho! to you too my friend! Yes, I'm all tucked up here lovely and cosy and warm. If I had my way, I would hibernate in here until next Spring!!
What a gorgeous tree! And an exciting photo. You're ahead of me Thisisme...I know, the countdown for Christmas is merrily rolling right along. Have a great week!
Thisisme I love your little Christmas tree. So since I had only two comments on my birthday blog I will be sending you both a little something out when i send my Christmas packages out. So if you would like to privately send me your mailing information so I might get your little gift out to you please. you can email me at beautybybeth@yahoo.com Thank you and congrats to you. Blessings
Well, I'm just confused! I thought I'd left a comment but I don't see it! Love your tree and love that you are getting all in the spirit so early in the season. I'm hoping to get the Thanksgiving decorations...wreaths and garlands off doors and cornucopia packed away today or tomorrow. Perhaps this weekend we'll go tree hunting! I did help Elise decorate her townhouse for Christmas this weekend after all the family left, so I guess I AM getting there! PS Have you heard the new Michael Buble Christmas album...so lovely!
Your tree is beautiful! I love your multi-colored lights. Remember when I was complaining about the early decorations and music? Well, the spirit is hitting me in full force now. We decided to add to our outdoor light display (that was up since last year) and fill our side yard next to our neighbor who is battling cancer. So, when he is able to make brief trips home, he will be greeted by something happy. I hope to get a tree next week.
Sush - I don't like to see you getting all confused my friend!! You DID leave a comment about the tree, but you left it on the previous post of mine ("A reflective post today.") and I replied to you over there! I have downloaded that Michael Buble "Christmas" album, and I have been playing it all week, so I am even more in the Christmas mood!! It's really good, isn't it?!
Duncan - Yes, it's lovely when the tree goes up with all the twinkling lights. I did see your tree a little while ago as well!
kneesandpaws - Hi Jenny! I'm glad that you're getting in the spirit of things now!(even though it is still quite early!). How lovely of you to decorate the side of the house, so that your neighbour will be able to see it when he comes and goes. It's so sad when someone is poorly like this, isn't it?! Cancer is such an awful disease, and the person concerned has to go through so much :( Hugs to you.
Odie - Hi my friend. I love having the tree up, but you have been rather busy with other things - two little pooches for a start! Hope they are both doing well, and that you are having a stress-free week over there.
Susan - hallo! I see that I'm ahead of you, but you have been busy too, making that new piece of your garden, so you're excused!! Hee Hee!
Bethe - hallo my friend. I expect you are still working hard! How sweet of you to want to send me a little something. That's rather lovely. Thank you! I will e-mail you my postal address. Blessings.
vintch - hallo sweet Courtney. Thank you so much! Yes, it does look lovely and cosy, and the little grandchildren love it! Thank you so much for popping across to leave a comment.
Empty Nester - Hi Pam. I haven't spoken for the last three days. I'm still waiting for your permission to speak!! LOL! I know what you mean about the lights. I've got 4 sets that aren't working, yet I'm sure they were working when I put them up in the attic last year! Grrrrr!
Hi Diane, I do love a Christmas tree! Hope you are feeling less sad after your last post. Thankyou for all your lovely comments. It was very sad abour Jane Packer wasn't it. Have a lovely weekend, with much love, Linda x

Very pretty but the festive spirit has not reached me yet, it still seems too early. :)
Lovely.
I am holding off until the 12th. I find in our small room the tree just takes over.

What a lovely tree! Did the grankdis get to help you decorate it? Hard to believe that Christmas will soon be here...
Snowmen have taken up residence in my home; the tree will wait a couple weeks. Yours is so inviting.

It's absolutely lovely! I have one tree up but not decorated. The darn lights are not being very cooperative.
