10 Things I Love

My friend over at gawgus-things has set me the challenge of naming ten things that I love.  I actually find these quite hard to do, as I did with my 5 indulgences.  There are so many things that I love, but when asked to actually name them, my mind seems to go a complete blank!

Talking about gawgus-things, do go over and check out her Blog.  She writes about gorgeous things in her life and her fashion sense is excellent.  Personally, I feel that she should be researching and writing for a Fashion Magazine.
Come on now, thisisme, you're just rambling on to try and put off the challenge that you have been set!  (Ten is quite a lot to have to come up with, by the way).

1.  I love quotations, inspirational sayings etc.  They could be lines from a film, such as from the movie I love, Now Voyager, when Bette Davis says "Oh Jerry, don't let's ask for the moon.  We have the stars." (you will gather that I am an incurable romantic!).

Another quote that springs readily to mind is from Oscar Wilde, "We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars."

2.  Like a lot of you, I suspect, I love the summer, when I can feel the sun on my skin and go to the beach and paddle in the sea.  (Very rarely in England is the sea actually warm enough to swim in).  I love to hear the waves gently lapping the shore and the noise of the gulls flying overhead.
