Sending blessings to all my American blogging friends on this Thanksgiving Day. After reading all your comments about this special day to you all, I am feeling very left out and envious.
Maybe next year, I will have my own Thanksgiving Day here in England!

Thank you so much. You really should develop your own feast. We are cooking now at my SIL's house...turkey, sweet potatoes etc. Twelve people but it is rainy.
Thanksgiving should be made compulsory the world over! Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!
You're making me feel hungry now, Olive! Enjoy.
Hear hear, Gawgus-things!
Thanks This...I wanted to cook a small dinner for the two of us but Bruce wants to eat out. I am missing the smell of the turkey cooking and the stuffing and all that goes with our traditional meal. It just doesn't feel right. Half the fun is the leftovers! But yes, you could certainly start your own holiday. Thanks for being you!
I know what you mean about eating out, Barb. It's just not the same is it? On the other hand, I suppose I can see Bruce's point of view, if there's just the two of you. But, yes, you will miss those wonderful smells and the left-overs. Hope you've had a good day.
We are all checking in and being together in a small way so all you are really missing is the food. We had lots of everything and there was plenty left over to carry home for another meal. We are having light rain but it had no effect on our spirits. All in all it was another great Thanksgiving. Have a blessed rest of the day.
Odie
Glad it was a good Thanksgiving for you, Odie.
