Something calming, after yesterday's outburst!
I saw this quote on another Blog a few days ago, and I was so taken with it that I asked Donna if I could use it on one of my posts.
P.S. Yesterday my Wii Fit age was 45 (down from 75 only a few days ago!!!).
If only we could lose 30 years that easily in real life. LOL!

That's a nice quote. You must have been working out non-stop to get down to 45!
Gawgus things - glad you liked the quote. I was on for it just over an hour, but really enjoyed it. Then I had a few games of bowling and got lots of strikes. Yay! (Mind you, the backs of my legs are aching this morning. That's from the bowling, not the Wii Fit.)
Bruce's daughter has Wii so when we were up in CT last, we bowled and golfed. My arms were killing me the next day and I didn't know why at first until I picked up a controller and tried it again. Wow, you do get a good workout. Now you're younger than me. Good for you!! Hugs.
Bouncin'Barb - it's surprising how it does make you ache! I'm hoping that means that it's doing me some good :) They have actually put this Wii Fit into a lot of Residential Homes in the area where I live, as they say that most people can at least do some of it, and at least they're using their muscles instead of just sitting there. Shame! There were all these old dears thinking that they were going to have a bit of peace and quiet at their time of life, but no - get on the Wii Fit! LOL!
Be careful, dear friend Thisisme! If you took 30 years off your age with only a few days of exercise, at this rate you'll soon be a toddler and unable to write your blog! (LOL)
The quote from Donna's site is a wonderful life lesson. I would like to add the philosophy that I expressed on my own blog:
"You don't fight hate.
You kill it with kindness
and love it to death."
Cheers!
beautiful poem and congrats on becoming younger in Wii years
great quote! i might have to borrow it myself sometime.
Great words to live by from you and from Shady's comments. Oh to be 45 again, that was ages ago. Hang in there my friend and before long you will probably find energy you never knew you had. Take and don't overdo.
Odie
Shady - yes sir, I'll be running round in nappies again soon!LOL! Absolutely loved your quote about loving it to death. Another gem!
Becca - glad you liked the poem.
Teresa - yes, it's a good one to borrow, isn't it?
Odie - Tell me about it. You and I are the same age, so 45 seems like a lifetime ago! Hope you're having a restful weekend.
What a lovely quote. After what my brother wrote to me and reading y'alls comments I can truly see the meaning. You guys are a light that makes the darkness go away.
Love you This! Thank you.
[and glad that you are SO YOUNG!]
SkippyMom - What a really lovely thing for you to say! We're all there for you. Ignore all the other rubbish. We're here for each other, and it's great! Big hugs to you my friend x
